Of course all that wasn't stock. But for all the SRs I compare it to, they weren't stock either. Almost all SR owners get bigger injectors, Z32 Fuel Pump (or Walbro), exhaust among other mods and get about the same HP at 7psi. So that example is still feasable.

If you can't tell what I meant I'll say it again. It did not have stock injectors, or stock fuel pump. It had minor precautionary mods that SR owners do when they install SR.

So I have proved that the KA is just as worthy as the SR, so now just admit it.

Lol..Hookups? No not at all..800 For the Engine ECU Transmission and wiring harness..150 shipping..950 for a 220 HP motor..And what would be broken down? unless you're buying a crap one from a private seller..Everything you need....1300 for just the motorset?..Damn you're getting robbed..

so at 11 PSI they make 241 HP...Which is About what a STOCK Sr20DET makes give or take depending on model...Now...A Sr20DET's boost can be turned up and still be in stock trim..and have more HP than that!..So your point was?

And what PSI was "Jay" boosting at it doesn't say. And it also doesn't say what EMU he used, cause i'm pretty sure a Stock 240's Comp isn't gonna be able to map out high boost and huge fuel loads.

Show me some links to these places, it doesn't seem rigth at all. There are other parts you need to complete the swap too, you can't just buy a motorset and an engine lift and call it a day. Also 800 for an S14 SR cuz thats what S14 SRs put out, I really wanna see this for myself.

For things that would be broken, well lets see all these engines come from junkyards. Don't think that these cars come from some dealership. They all come from crashed Silvias, and junkyards don't care what the owner did to thier car beforehand, so how would you know the status of the engine. Especially when you don't know the mileage, and don't give this oh they told me they come with ~40K miles, they all say that for show.

Also do you know anyone personally that bought a motorset for 800, if so how much did they spend in other parts.

umm maybe an S15 will make that kind of HP at 11 psi, but it wont at stock, and the S13 and S14 won't make that kind of power at 11 psi.

At 14 psi with good weather I know someone with an S13 SR that got 222HP 240TQ with minor mods (exhaust, injectors, fuel pump)

So an S14 would probably make ~240HP at 14 psi with mods.

For the knock sensor do you mean the s14 or the SOHC 240 that dynoed at 6 and 11 psi?

Where is the Sil-eight in that picture??? If I remember correctly isn't the front end of a S13 1800cc made in 89 to 91 put together with the rear of a; in America the 240sx Fastback???

nissan made a run of 400 Sil-80s. an RPS13 with a slivia front end. stiffer shocks as well. (very popular with the drifters)

Well the term sil-80 is used very loosely.
Sil = Silvia 80 = 180SX
So Silvia front end, and 180SX rear. The US 240 shares 180SX rear except in later years the tails, and earlier years the centerpanel.

A sil-80 could be any hatch 240 with either an S13 S14 or S15 front, but most use it to describe one with an s13 front.


In the pic I posted its the one closest to you with the gold te37s in front.

OK after looking at the vid he isn't using street tires. His street tires are the gold volks and the silver racing harts. I guess he put that in wrong.

I understand that and my bad for not seeing your pic, but the original post of this thread had a link to nothing but S13s, 14s and a possible 15 in there, I saw no 180sx or 240 fastback bodies anywhere.
