I've tried to get it to brake nope....steering... yeah right. I jump on the dual shock Dpad and do very well I'm thinking bout getting the thrustmaster T-Gt. Wtf am I doing wrong.

I'm going to try all wheels. Even the accuforce pro v2. That will be my last option. Besides the 4000$ SIM wheel. I just want the real deal.

Don't bother buying a direct drive FFB wheel, if I'm not mistaken GTS doesn't support them yet. Try the T-GT, as you mentioned in the first post, or try the Fanatec CSL Elite for PS4. Those are the best and more expensive wheels that you can use at the moment.

T150 has been working great for me so far,got it Friday along with GT SPORT. It doesn't compare to my TX wheel for Xbox but still pretty decent.

Ive just ran a 300KM endurance race with my T150 last night, did not have any issues, was very fun and precise to use.

However when i had the T150 at first it was quite hard to adjust from controller, maybe that might be the problem for you too? If so, just keep using the wheel, you will get the hang of it eventually, at first its quite hard, but its worth it as time goes on. Unless you got an actual technical issue.

I think i have mine since around a month or so now. (few days before GT Sport launch)

I am still not perfect, but it gets better with time, and its more fun for me than controller. (i like the controller too though, i use it sometimes as well.)

Its like I got to crawl around the track. Idk. Just venting I guess I guess its me lol
So, I just want to piece this together from the information you've given about the issue.

When playing GT Sport (I assume it's GT Sport, from the fact you posted in a GTS forum, but you haven't even given this information yet) with a Thrustmaster T150, you experience:
* No brakes at all
* No steering at all
* Partial throttle? I assume that, as few tracks will allow you to lap on left over speed from Autodrive (only Kyoto Miyagi and Northern Isle; possibly BB Speedway)
* But you can crawl around a circuit, despite having no steering.

And from this you think that the problem is... the T150 is broken? And the solution to that is to buy a different wheel?

Is that about right?

I do appreciate everyone's feedback. Just frustrated. Famine. It turns and brakes and steers. Just feels awful. The braking it the main concern. Ill press it to the floor and it just don't seem like it wants to stop. I'm getting on GT Sport now. Since I can't sleep. I'm just going to keep plugging at it. I assume I'm just used to the dual shock sort of muscle memory. I'm gonna start with settings @ 1 and 1 for torque and steering. Thx again.

In every car? What does the braking indicator do when you are braking?

Does the lateral g-meter move? What does the throttle meter do?

If all of the meters move as they should, the wheel works. If it works, but the problem is that it "feels awful" (compared to?), you should adjust the FFB settings until it doesn't.

Does the brake indicator show that you are applying full brake?(like in this picture)

There in lies your problem.

Its a totally different skill set you need to learn. Do you drive in real life?

Don’t expect to be equal to your abilities on a DS4 for a while, but practice will enable you to, don’t give up.

The coordination that your going to have to learn is totally alien to DS4 coordination.

I would suggest going back through all the License tests using only the wheel, if you’ve done them already with a DS4 you have a benchmark, it all about translating what you know how to do with your fingers, to using your hands and feet.

Just think back to how long it took to learn your skillset for a DS4/3, that’s what your now attempting.

I use t150, the pedals are its weakness, but they are in no way performance impacting.

Yes I drive in real life. Actually some off rd racing dune buggies sports truck and the old time 3 wheelers 250r so like u said ridding quads and such is the opposite of cars everything is the opposite with feet and hanfs3. Ill continue to practice and take all the advice that I and others give ty

You may want to change the sensitivity on the wheel and in game settings.
Maybe try the driving school... (Assuming you are playing gt sport)

I changed max torque to 3 and sensitivity to 2 for now not bad. Yes GTS. Thx

I'm in driving school now

Is there a way to calibrate or something for my brakes? The brake indicator is showing only like 8 or 9 10th when full pressing on the brake.

I dont think so, not 100% on that, BUT it might be your ABS.. i get the same thing.
A little red bar pops up above the strength if i brake too hard... (everytime)

Not sure what you're explaining here. If you're locking up brakes you lose the ability to steer (wheel feels light), manage the braking without ABS by going between 25-50% on the brake pedal.

I went from a G25 to a TMX (using it via Drivehub on PS4) and I'm pretty happy with it since my G25 died, though the pedal quality is subpar and the T3PA is a better pick (or Fanatic LC via USB adapter). If you have the stock 2 pedal, find something like a makeup remover sponge and tape it behind the brake pedal and it makes for easier brake management.

If you want to be sure that there is no problem with the brake pedal and if you have PC download the latest DRIVERS FORCE FEEDBACK (Package 2017_TTRS_6) + Firmware and check whether the brake indicator show that you are applying full brake when you full pressing on the brake.

On PC, the USB sliding switch on the T150 racing wheel’s base must always be set to the PS3 position!
DO NOT CONNECT the racing wheel to your PC before being prompted to do so.
RESTART THE COMPUTER once the package setup is complete.

I just got the T150 a couple of months ago. Its my first wheel, and I love it! I'm surprised you're having such a tough time. It took me some time to get used to it as well, but practice makes perfect!

Same here, love the T150 on GTSport. I also have a Logitech G920 for PC simracing. Back to back they're very similar, G920 has a bit more ffb strength, but I usually turn it down a little anyway.

Edit: I will add that I have the 2 pedal set on my T150. I did the brake mod on it for a bit better feel, but the G920 pedals are much better IMO.

It better I just kept plugging at it for hours its a lot better. It just took some time to get used to.

Yeah this ^. I've introduced LOADS of people to steering wheels for GT games over the years and everyone struggles to get to grips with it right away no matter how fast they were on the DS. It will come eventually and when it does you will be so so happy you stuck with it.
