That happened to me only one time at Deep Forest, I got 2 tenths into the gold range and then five other drivers got a gold time and knocked me back down in the silver zone. I was so pissed off I could have lost it. It was the Lancer Group 4 challenge. I remember it clear as day.

If it's the same car, which I think it must be, I know the guy who owns it although maybe not for long as it is for sale and maybe sadly has been returned to a former livery!

This is quite a handfull around this track 🙄
Took me long enough to even complete a lap 🤣, and I have to do some track learning on this one 🙈
The weight shifting power oversteer reaction on T4? to T5.? ( tight right hander followed by the long lefthander ) is epic and makes my dualsense make strange noises 🤣🤣🤣
But come on...... it's just hot,
And yeeting a 10 mil credit car around is always fun ( altho they were a lot cheaper when I bought some 🤣 )

Well, I only had 18 minutes to try and make up the 0.05 I needed for Gold at Mazda... and it didn't happen 
But since I was online when the new TT dropped, which almost never happens, I decided to run it for about 30 mins.
I managed to get my first top 100 ever!
. I'm now down in the 1300s, which is appropriate 
Not even sure if this time will hold up for gold, but it's not bad for a first stint.
I actually really enjoy this combo, so if I can find some time to put in on it I will. But I need to go try the Ionic one first, which I haven't started yet

It's time trial Thursday, yay!
Let me join the choir of those praising this new combo. It's killer! The car looks great, it sounds great, and it drives great. Plus the track is a real treat in VR. If I have one gripe it's that apparently for top times you'll once again have to heavily abuse engine braking. The current WR replay by M. Voloshin is tough to watch (or rather listen to). I really wish PD did something to fix this.
Getting to know the track will take some more time that I will gladly spend. I think a low 1:54 should be doable for me. For now it's enough to provide @Gomario JSP with a rabbit to chase tomorrow morning

Never liked Alsace, apex-less thing for artists and dreamers, not spreadsheet jockeys like myself.
But I thought hey, at least I get to drive my stratasoffenbergenfurger in anger right? Urrrrrgh WHERE ARE THE BRAKES? I struggle to get under 2 minutes and see I need 5 seconds more to get gold, yeah not gonna happen, this car just doesn't stop, brutal.

Every car differs when it comes to grip, handling, braking, turning etc. You'll have to go with the flow i.e. practice without keeping high hopes. learn the characteristics of the car on RH tires & once You acclimatize with the braking, then try to better Your time.

For this morning I'm returning the favor 🤣
i found some time on the first TV session 🤪
but i do struggle a bit with it cause i feels a bit dead on the steering now and then, in most corners im pressing the stick to the neigbours and just feels like I'm missing 25% of my normal steering ability on the pad, but it's a beautiful car to drive around here, and I kind of like the track... it's just not that easy with the 911 here 🤣🤣

A staggering 40% of the top 10 most popular time trials are from this year. And we're only in February. Wow. Getting such high player numbers this far into the game's life is incredible.

Probably a combination of Christmas gifts and people buying the game after enjoying the free mini version. Possibly also small numbers of new year's resolutions to get better and using time trials as a vehicle for that. Whatever the cause it is great to see the numbers growing.

I had two problem corners this morning.....
A: the long righthander around 1:08 ....remains a complete mystery to me.... if I blink and am to wide it understeers to Venus but if you clip the curb on the inside you oversteer to Mars .....🤣🤣
And the left hander going up in 4th before the last chicane...... killing.....🤣🤣
