6-10-4. Not a bad night, I suppose...although I forgot to upshift on the main straight in R3, possibly costing myself a podium. :grumpy:

Good Racing Mate! 8-5-8 could have easily won. Calm Down Scania, your warning was after race two and then you carried on in R3.…

@Furi: Scanny is Scanny_Flick...... :P

Cannot believe that crap. Get banned for driving the pistons out of my engine...
Yes, I did cause an accident; but I should only be getting a warning for that incident? Not an instant ban?

Yes you apologised. But having the spacial awareness of a drunk blind deaf man in a china shop, or doing 170mph in a TOCA car is NOT on. Only complaints I have had have all been about you.

Think you'll find that most people pushed others out into the wall rather often. I used my mirrors as much as possible but didn't see the odd car. 170mph? That car is tuned to go as fast as physically possible (within the regulations). That Honda deserves to win - but is not being allowed it's potential because the Series Owner dislikes the driver.

Would be a mere pts penalty, but there has been complaints about you through the season. And you should just spend time practising instead so you can better at "tracks with turns".

For me by the way, my NASCAR experience was all used tonight ;)

And Scanny, thats my decision, but i'll leave final judgement to the stewards :) .

You need patience Scania, not passing and racing for every single lap. A good example after the crash in Race 3 Hurley and myself paired up to get back up. Orama later joined us after his mistake and the 3 of us ran down the leaders by drafting and staying in line. 👍

I have a very busy lifestyle you see, Furi - and attending 4 different race meetings a week does mean there is little time to practice. I have a knowledge of the route of the track and a good line; but that's where the line stops.

NASCAR experience? Good for you...

Fine.. But don't expect me to be so kind on you in BTCC. Lastly, I have a list of complaints about yourself actually! :P

I never practise barring 1 or 2 laps before the room opens. I have had no time for a lot of GT5 lately, hence the delay in tables. So point invalid.

Yes, helps at an oval type track - how did I go from back to the front in Race 1? Patience and timing.

Really?

How did I get from the back of the grid to the front in Race 3; by driving.

"If you no longer go for a gap that exists, you are no longer a racing driver":- Ayrton Senna

Those are words I will always follow, whatever the situation. I am here to race and fight, not to come and have a cup of tea and chat over the garden fence.

Those exact words are taken by people as an excuse for ham fisted driving. It doesn't mean "slot into every bloody space at every time". Senna didn't win by that, there's also something called patience and racecraft :)

Gaps often close. It's called the natural racing line. The guy ahead always has the right to turn in if the guy behind isn't far enough alongside. Then it's up to the guy behind to back out of it.

If Senna says this, then it's correct. He was the true legend of driving. He made it an art form. Now, you must remember that there was a the bright side of Senna - and then there was the dark side when he would fight until either himself or his rival came off worse.

The thing is, there were more than a couple times where you went for gaps that didn't exist.

As I just said - there was a dark side of Senna also. Where he would fight to the very end in any way possible. That's the whole point of racing; to fight for victory, no matter how much it takes.

------

By the way, how does your rule system work? People who have been with your series for a while and are your friend always seem to get let off or just given a warning. But when there's a new kid on the block who is trying to mix with the big guys - they always get butted out and given instant bans instead of the warnings. This seems rather unfair..

Senna wasn't an Oval racer

I think the argument is, and you could argue this with quite a few TOCA drivers, is that you don't know when a gap exists :) But I don't know, I'm just going by experience of TOCA :P

1. Senna has a great side.
2. Senna had a bad side, see that quote.
3. You didn;t do your homework, otherwise why was DK suspended (a veteran of EVERY TOCA season) and Chris (since season 4) banned?

Senna wasn't an Oval racer

Well High Speed Ring isn't a complete oval?
Still a racing track, with corners - and that's where Senna was best.

I think the argument is, and you could argue this with quite a few TOCA drivers, is that you don't know when a gap exists :) But I don't know, I'm just going by experience of TOCA :P

I would personally say the gap exists if your car can squeeze into it. Enough said.

You can see a gap, doesn't mean it will be there when you get to it. And you just contradicted Senna himself. Congrats 👍

I can start to see why Furi wouldn't be too happy with you, you don't just go for a gap because your car can fit into it, there are so many other factors.

1. We know that, he was a wet weather master.
2. Yes, he would endanger people's lives just to win the F1 Championship (I wouldn't go as far as that).
3. I couldn't care less, you almost always target the people who are trying to get a good result who are new.
4. Yes, I am fully aware that I'm banned from here. But that doesn't stop me from having me say?

I also make sure that it's not going to cause an accident.

1. Agreed.
2. You'll never reach Formula 1.
3. Evidence please?
4. It's a temporary ban, but going on isn;t going to improve things.

I'm a new kid on the block also but I have kept a quiet and low profile in my first year in TOCA. :P

1. I think that's the first thing we've ever agreed on.
2. I don't like Formula 1, too much technology. Sports that requires large hammers is my thing.
3. Evidence? Ask Jason.
4. I know it's temporary - and as I began to consider a possible return for Season 9; you better try and speak to me in a way that you'd speak to another adult.

By the way, remember you banned Dano20 for giving you a bit of contact? I seem to remember that you then rammed him off the Race Track (which is a more serious offense) and nothing was done against you?

1. 👍
2. Go to do some demolition derby, suits you.
3. No, I am asking you to back up a statement you made which you just totally then backed out of.
4. Try being an adult about things then.

and a BONUS! 5. Dano pretty much had a history, and you ask the rest of the field. :)

That's not really answering the question.
Why did you have no penalty for an offense that was more serious than his?

Just because you're Series owner doesn't mean that you are exempt from penalties.

6. You still never answered 4.

7. The Question about your driving is more important - as this could effect your standing in the Championship one hell of a lot more...

Also, that thing with Dano has never actually been put to bed yet...

8. I asked before you.
9. No, correction, you are bringing it up because you want to make a show.
