What are some good army games for PS2? Like Socom and Rainbow Six. I'm thinking about getting Socom 2 cause I don't wanna spend alot on Socom 3. Any suggestions or reccomendations?

The game Mercenaries is a lot of fun.
You're pretty much a one man army, who can take a lot of bullets, but it is very hard.
You can drive tanks, helicopters, or just shoot the crap out of things yourself in 3rd person. You also have various options of laser guided air strikes, bombing guided by satellite or calling in artillery support from outside the map. At first the game didn't impress me much, but after the couple of early missions it turns out to be a great game.
Not as tactical as a rainbow six though.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Also, whats a good game where you can sniper guys? A game where you have to be strategic.

Okay, another pc game (yeah yeah I know), operation flash point is a gem, and it costs nearly nothing. And that has LOADS of sniping action. Far Cry is also dirt cheap, looks awesome, and has a HUGE HUGE sniper happy draw distance.
If you like stratergy, give commandos 2 a go. Cheap and hard as nails.
