Jeremy Clarkson? Really? He doesn't have any racing credentials to speak of.

At least put The Stig or something.

Clarkson is the best host.

But the other two are accomplished racing drivers. Bad comparison lol...

Keiichi practically invented drifting. I'm certain he gets points there.

wat?

From what I hear from my dads youth.. people did that stuff all the time back in the 60's... When he was a toddler.

Not putting this against him...

Keiichi is probably the best driver, although I'm sure Tanner could more then hold his own against him. Clarkson is too fat...

I understand, and I know for a fact that people were doing it in pre-war racing. I think it's that Tsuchiya brought it to the forefront as a type of motorsport. I'm not exactly an expert, but I try not to inflate the truth too much.

Flawed poll is flawed. Jezza is never claimed to be a racing driver. He is a presenter, nothing more.

Tsuchiya of course!

Tanner (in my mind) is a close second though.

Replace Jeremy by The Stig or Tiff and the poll would be slightly different.
Tiff is a great driver

In this case as driver : Tsuchiya
as entertainer : Clarkson

(liked the post with Jeremy is too fat to be fast :D)

-> I vote for KT. He has the humor, the skill, the technicallity, and insights while he is driving at 8/10ths at the Gunma Cycle Touge! No one else can do that! 👍

-> Clarkson has the humor spot on, and thats it. As what May said "...a lumbering oaf with the feet of lead and always yelling POWAH!!!."

-> Foust? Um, sterile, showboat-y, and emotionless. :indiff:

I voted for Tanner too. Just because Jeremy Clarkson isn't that good of a driver in comparison to only have three votes separate them. We're ever so sorry, Jeremy. (Smiles smugly and places L on head) But if this was for Car review quality and a good opinion to ride on (usually), and entertainment, Jeremy is out of Tanner's league (though I don't know about this other guy, never heard of him).

Keiichi Tsuchiya is a living legend in Japan. He went from touge to track and was able to do quite well, he had a class victory at Le Mans and almost got the overall in 1999 but was forced off and had to make repairs.
