I just hope your tattooist "cuzin" is better at spelling than you are, or you'll have dyslexia all over your body for the remainder of your life.

So, one presumes you're spending $30,000 on tattoos because you're not buying a car anymore?
why do you feel you always have to make fun of people. you need to grow up and stop being such an ass to everyone that doesnt do everything the way you want it. and that money is not all at once its over a period of time.

TEN i have a question... what is TMI.

and mclaren gotta love vipers, my hometown is known as the viper headquarters of north america. we even have viper police cars.

Our school wouldn't allow tatoos either. I don't have any tatoos and think that it is a poor idea to get one. It is bad for your health, and when you get into the old folks home you will still have your tatoo. That tatoo will just hang there on your sagging skin and look ugly.

wtf are you talking about? we live in Guelph ON, a bumhole town of 110,00 people. I've never seen a viper cruiser, and i've only ever seen one viper (a yellow R/T-10 with black stripes) being driven on the street. I've also never heard of Guelph being referred to as viper cap of North America, as I'm absolutely positive Wasaga beach and L.A. would have many, many more. Per capita too. And famine isn't trying to get people to do anything, he's questioning their ethics, which I was certainly doing too. 30 grand for a tattoo is not worth it, IMHO.

....and what's TMI?

And you pulled this out of where?

everyone knows that tattooing is bad for you. How could it possibly be good, or have no effect? You're burning ink into your skin. think about it.

^Correct. I was just making an assumption.

I wouldn't exactly call 100,000 people a bumhole of a town. That is actually quite a large town, probably a city.

Oh, sorry didn't realise that everyone knew. There are definatly risks involved, but their not nessissarily bad for your health if you take care of them. I know people who have lived perfeclty healthy lives with tattoos.

I'm not saying its bad for your health, but there just no way it could be good for your body. and of course I live in a city, it's just that 80% of it middle class with expensive real-estate where noone can afford a good car.

Your tatoo might work fine, but there is also a chance that the tatoo doesn't work. It doesn't matter if you don't have problem now, you might have some down the road. You could get ink poisoning or something, even if you take car of your tatoo. It probably hurts to get them and stuff too. Who would want to go through all of this agony just for some stupid tatoo?

If you don't want the tatoo anymore then it costs you big buck to remove it as well. As I said earlier, when you are in the old folks home that rose you have tattooed on your arm will be hanging and sagging with your skin. It will look ugly.

I don't think it would be good for your body either. They haven't been doing these thing for that long. What are the long term effects? Even if they were to cost practically nothing I think most people wouldn't have them. $30,000 on a tatoo is just crazy though. I live in one of the richest towns in the state and we still don't have people with tattoos, just because they can afford them.

That is crazy. Who would spend that much for a shot of ink that has a possibility of killing you? The end result wouldn't satisfy me enough to go through the process of getting one of these "ugly skin patches." It has got to hurt and bleed and you have possible health risks.

s13 drifting. I wouldn't get that star. Everyone who gets a tattoo gets that tattoo. That and the flames around the wrist. I'm not telling you what to do or anything. I just think you might want to be more original.

Getting tattoos is about showing your personality not to copy others.

do you know that that sign is from 1990, we are close to 180 000 now, and i even have a poster that has one of guelphs police cruisers and its a dodge poster and at the botom it says guelph the viper head quarters of north america. and if you have only seen 1 viper you need to get out more. there are even a few modified ones. if you just go to firestone down by ross cvi there is 5 in their parking lot. and about people not being able to get a nice car because of the property value, by people living here shows that you have money if you can afford a 30 year old house that needs work for 240 000 dollars. i just pulled that out of a real estate book of my brothers. and you say the money isnt worth it well thats your opinion and i respect that but i think they are a great way to expres yourself.

i know but i have wanted those tatoos for such a long time. and ever since nicolase cages little brother in gone in 60 senconds had flames on his arm it got popular. and i think what has gone overboard is the barb wire armband. i want to get an armband but a celtic armband.

um do you know guelph did a census in 2004 and the population was 106,000? It was on the radio. And how come there are never any police vipers down at the police station then? As I live downtown and routinely walk past it and have never seen a single one there. It's all Crown victorias, undercover impalas, and the school/VIP Volkswagen beetel-cruiser. And btw, everyone knows houses built between 1945-1980 is crap. My house was built between 1904 and 1920, its on park avenue. And if price is really that much of an issue to you, then fine, it's $498,000.00. And what relevance is that there are vipers in a car studio's parking lot? Go down to a Dodge-Chrysler-Jeep dealership and you'll find some there too.

yeah. The barbwire is really big too. The celtic armband would be cool cause that would be all about you. Tattoos should be like that.

I wanted to get a tattoo under my belly button saying magicly delicious with some of the lucky charms around it. I never did, because all my money needed to go to other things. I think it's a cool and funny idea though.

Oh boo-hoo... He called me an ass...

I was merely expressing an opinion - and a concern - that your spelling is atrocious and, from previous topics from you, several of your characteristics seem to be hereditary. If you get a tattoo you really want to make sure it's spelled properly. Is this blindingly obvious at all to you? Or do you just want to insult me some more?

$30,000 on tattoos is a staggering waste of money - especially given from your behaviour and attitude on these boards. So far you've just displayed extraordinarily stereotypical characteristics of a messed-up teen. You don't know what you want and it's everyone else's fault. Given that you change your mind more often than the wind changes, do you really think it's wise to have images permanently burned into your flesh when tomorrow you may not like them any more?

Grow up indeed, young padawan.

Tattoos look cool, on other people...sometimes. A bit too permanent for me, I say nay. 👎

But $30,000 on tattoos?! You're obviously mad...

Actually, I'm all FOR personal choice. If someone wants to spend $30,000, or $300,000 or whatever on tattoos (or Tom Leppard), that's fine.

But they are permanent (ish). When you don't know your own mind, like this example of teenager, and you're only doing it to look "cool"...

I've got a couple. Just a bit of advice, don't get a tattoo done on a whim, think about it first.
Most decent tattooists will make you book in advance so they know it is not a spur of the moment thing, they will also not tattoo drunk people.
Word of mouth is good, check out the work of the tattooist you are going to see, see how long it takes to heal and if there were any problems.

You should see him sterilise his needles in front of you, he should be wearing latex gloves and spray you down with antiseptic solution regularly. Don't get cheap tattoos done...you will only regret it...you are paying for the hygiene and the artists skill.

Also get it done in a place that you can cover it with just a T-shirt (no fore arm tats...thats so bad ;))

Heres two of mine, the obligitary celtic/tribal band ( I was quite annoyed when I saw every "boy band" on the planet with one  they are so common now) A nice dragon and lastly a pic of the little eye on the small of my girfriends back.

yes i knoe all of the things i am not going to let them touch me untill i know exactly what i want. and my cousin all i have to do is look at the tatoos he has to see his work ( he done all his tatoos except the ones in places he cant reach). and as for forearm tats that the first place im getting done. and if anyone says you wont be able to get a job, being a fabricator you do not have to be appealing to the consumers eyes. and i plan on taking advantage of a goverment thing and open my own shop after i finish my automotive, welding, and bisiness classes so i really wont have to worry about being apealing at a job interveiw.( in ontario the give you $60 000 dollars to start a small bisiness if you are under 25) so

Correct spelling and punctuation are looked upon favorably but are not required. What is required is mutual respect for other members as well staying on topic.

No offense, but Canada isn't home to any Viper City's of North America. Most likely, that would be Detroit. That's where the big American Manufacturers are. :sly:

yes pako lets stay on topic here, i do not want this to end up like my other previos threads. i have another question... does anyone have any peircings? i have both ears peirced but no earings i lost my little diamonds and my little black fuzzballs anyone know what i am talking about. and i plan on getting lip or eyebrow or both done

Actually, I said you displayed "extraordinarily stereotypical characteristics of a messed-up teen". I didn't say you WERE messed-up.

If I was trying to insult people, I'd have a good deal more warnings than I currently do. Which is none.

Can you have an "illegal adult"?

To illustrate my point for me...

"my parents would kick me out if i got one before i moved out."

Your parents would kick you out of the house for body art? Notwithstanding the fact you're a minor and thus it's illegal for someone to tattoo you, this doesn't seem terribly understanding.

"so the night im in my house im at my cuzzins getting tatoos."

Roll. Eyes.

"hes really good he learned in prison"

Roll. Eyes. Again.

Have you EVER stopped for a minute and thought about your life? Your mother was understandably upset when she saw your brother's drifting videos. Perhaps she's trying to protect you and keep you alive - so that you don't have to have another family funeral with "Knocking on Heaven's Door" played at it? And now you want to get your entire body covered in tattoos, on a whim, from your tattooist cousin, who learned his trade in prison. Are you not seeing how a link could form in your parent's minds?

No, tell you what, you just have another go at me, rather than stopping and thinking about other people close to you before you do anything idiotic.

For anyone who's bothered, Tom Leppard, the Guinness World Record holder for most tattooed human being:

i was saying you were considered an adult by the government but you do not act like it

"so the night im in my house im at my cuzzins getting tatoos."

yeah i will be legal then and not living in my parents house

"hes really good he learned in prison"

Roll. Eyes. Again.

you roll your eyes... why. are you better than people that made mistakes in their life. if they were in prison they are not good people? my cousin is a very religeos, nice, caring, and changed man.

and people that think the human body should be left alone, i think it is fine like that but when you have a tatoo then you are a work of art.

i was saying you were considered an adult by the government but you do not act like it

Really? Pray, tell me how you believe I act or do not act. Enlighten me as to how you draw these conclusions from perfectly constructive points you have taken affront to.

Perhaps running out, covering my body in designs I can never get rid of and drifting are somehow now considered signs of adulthood?

s13drifting
"so the night im in my house im at my cuzzins getting tatoos."

So it's okay to do something your parents don't want you to do the split-second you're not living with them?

Have you wondered, at all, why it is they DON'T want you to do it? I can assure you it's not because they're Nazis who delight in preventing you from doing things.

Consider other people's feelings. If you parents don't want you to do it, there must be a reason. Discuss it with them. You'll find it enlightening.

We're not talking a resounding role model here, are we?

Someone who will quite happily etch designs into you for the rest of your life, irrespective of the wishes of your parents - to whom he is more directly related than you...

s13drifting
and people that think the human body should be left alone, i think it is fine like that but when you have a tatoo then you are a work of art.

And how artistic is it when you're buying a design that has been put onto hundreds, if not thousands, of people before you?

The human body can be seen as already being a work of art...

Seriously, go and talk to your parents. Discuss tattoos with them - not in a "I want a tattoo" way, but in a general discussion of what you all think about them.
