Okay, heads-up everyone...those are actually air inlets vents, not the exhaust.

yes,this big exhaust is not for parade or sound,its for cooling becose car have no ventilators. the engine was cooled exhaust gas entrained air so. ejector effect. The engine thus acquired a 20HP, decline in total vehicle weight of more than 15kg. that cooling system take from TATRA 607

Only redirected somewhat, as evidenced by the pictures provided in the link, because they no longer needed to fit within the confines of the 607's cigarello shape.

The car's exhausts are actually quite diminutive due to the engine's relatively small capacity (3.5 liters) and breathing requirements. They're also pretty nifty.
