Well I dont know if you saw that he was lifting off throttle when approaching places where cars would join the roundabout and does not go back on throttle until he is 100% the cars ahead have stopped ... ;) No Childs there ... only 1 and his father is holding him ...

I know what your saying, where you'll do everything you can to make it as safe as possible but at the end of the day there is that very slight chance that child could break away from the father and the slight chance your brother could accidentally accelerate too much and its not really worth putting other peoples lives in danger.
Its like driving whilst on the phone, fair enough your putting your own life in danger but your putting every single other person's life, on the road, in danger.
Not having a go:)

This is the maximum speed test ... not an average speed... If you have a speed meter like (DU meter) try to download a file and print screen the graph of the speed if it shakes alot or goes up/down alot ... that's your reason.

mine doesnt shake or drop down i will post a pic in a minute

HaHa lol ... If you have a program that shows you your instant download/upload speed when you are using your PC and also a graph of those two values... (like DU meter you can download a trial version) , try do download something and print screen the graph of the speed after the download has been on for a minute or two if the graph shows alot of ups and downs then thats the reason of your lag ;)

I know what your talking about, but it stays above that, as in 1+mb and never any less.

Got to insert link. Once you past the link in, type in burst where the highlighted part is. And it will be burst and be able to click on it and it will go to this thread.

Still daylight street drifting is plain stupid...

Maybe if I lived where you guys live I would say the same , since you people have racing tracks available at almost anytime Unlike us here where all we have is the streets with wearn-out asphalt to Drift On ... So It might be plain stupid to you but not to me ;)

You do have a point. No wonder all the drift events are in car parks. And being honest the car parks look very small.

The best place for me is POD which is at least in the same county as me but still a good 150miles away, worth it though. Theres also a place called Thatchams very close but its literally an oval with concrete barriers so if you loose control thats it.
Only a few miles from me is an MOD (ministry of defence) airfield where drift days are held once a year, called modified madness but it was called off this year.
And yet another place within 200miles is mallory race track which hold regular drift days on the whole track with a good backwards entry corner and also silverstone has good backwards entry corners (see video). We are really lucky to be honest, to have so many venus, and there just a few tracks of many.

Isnt mondello really nice though. Isnt it a proper track and not just tarmac and cones.
EDIT: Theres also Crail which is very cheap compared to POD

Yeah but its like 200 miles away from me...

My idea for going to mallory which is ages away, about 300 miles, is to go up the day before and stay in a hotel. That way you dont have to get up at 3am. But it will cost a lot for fuel plus the hotel plus tyres which is annoying.

Having Fun and I thought I share my first ever closed track wet drifting experience :P

Clearly there is nothing Fancy there since I spon lol but note that the car is a 535ia (a=auto) and its a very high area above see level the air pressure is so low that the car was stalling as it never did on my before so I kept my foot hard on the gas after trying for 2 minutes to make it go sideways soflty :P

Nice! Whos car is it? Put a straight through exhaust and manual gearbox in it and it would make a good drift car! We had a 525i auto, and was gonna be mine but it was lying for a while and it wouldnt start. Nobody could figure out what it was, we thought it was the immobiliser but it would turn when you press a bar against the engine, (not sure where).
