PD is just handing people money now, wow. That's just kind of lazy, I don't like grinding races as much as the next guy but it's more fun than just getting money handed to you, kind of defeats the purpose of the game.

Yes, and they also had multi-million credit seasonals as soon as the game released, so either way you could get massive credits the first day you get the game. Ontop of that, most people glitched 1.01 so they have all the expensive cars in the game. I would've preferred the 1 million at start so I wasn't forced into the car they wanted me to use.

True, but to me the whole purpose of a game is to play it what it was meant for. Yes I say I hate racing for the money but I like it at the same time, it's bittersweet. The one thing I have about GT6 is that they force you to buy the Honda Fit. With the money they give you at the start you could easily start with a 300hp RWD car instead of the 100hp FF car. I hope in GT7 they don't do this again.

What about those of us that just want to drive the cars. I enjoy tuning and testing more than grinding against the AI. There is no "proper way" to play GT, you just enjoy it however you do. For some that's grinding through races chasing the 1st position AI for one or two laps, others will repeat races until there car is actually competitive and not complete overkill, others (like myself) like taming the cars and tricking them into driving nicely, and then there's photomode, top speed, drag, cruise, mini-games (football, kill the Prius, tag, etc).

I enjoy just driving cars as well, I used to do it all in GT5, drag, drift, circuits, etc, now I'm all about that drag racing but I really would like to play GT6 for what it was intended and that is circuit racing but the problem is that nobody really plays it for that anymore so I end up in an empty lobby every time so I don't bother anymore. I'm kind of at peace with it though because I love drag racing so it all works out in the end. I do agree that people will play however they want and there is nothing wrong with that I was just putting in my two cents. Moral of the story, I love GT6.
