Freaking sweet! Congrats guys.

Glad to hear Swara. For the challenge series also guys Its on the weekends so poopship can make it and Swara be there. Confirmed is myself and assume Chris. So try to see who all will be there.

Have fun with what's left of GT5, guys.

BTW Mich, pertaining to your title, a 400 block destroked with a 350 crank and .030 overbored to a 377 will outperform your 383 stroker. More stable at higher RPMs with a good intake and cam. Don't know what made me think of that, boredom I guess.

True, If I would do anything in reality I would pick LS motors over classic carbed... And I know but its a 383 Everyone loves the 383 stroker. Every other hot rodded Camaro have them. Haha :dopey:

And we already have Haters. There is a fake DLR on GT5, aka IwinYouLooz. Or its a troll account, and I know of one person that trolls people like this...

You wanna be like everyone else or do you want to stand out? I'd go carb 100% unless its a modern('92 or never) car. Carb + Heads + Intake + Cam combo gets more grunt per buck than fuel injection, and less costly to tune as well. Bigger cubic inch builds, the throttle body and intake will choke your fuel/air mix since they cant feed much more than 800-900 CFM. Only good thing about fuel injection is that you can regulate nitrous and turbo builds easier with it.

393 Strokers are much more fun in the way of toys but lets not drag this off topic.

Good luck with the team mich, glad swara joined. Have fun with what's left of GT5.

actually theres throttle body that flow up to 1500CFM i think F.A.S.T sells them, but you are right bout the carb,cam,heads,intake being better than fuel injection :)

It depends on the rest of your setup as to how well your engine will flow as a whole. You can have a 1200 CFM throttle body or mass air flow system but it won't do you a damn bit of good if your system can't flow it. The heads, intake, and exhaust system need to breathe fluently and easily in order to utilize the systems maximum air flow potential.

@shake

Those components are just as important in a fuel injection setup and you can sometimes get better results with fuel injection systems. For example, a 302 will respond well to either system. It really depends on what you want out of the engine. Fuel injection may bring better fuel economy but limit your choices of other parts because of ECU compatibility. That said both sides offer benefits and both have disadvantages. At the end of the day though I prefer carbed systems for less headaches.

Can we get back on topic please? Thanks(:

I thought you were done with gt5? You gave your cars away? Whatever happened to Hydro for life?

I hope you guys go far though. Bit upset over this all but that's life I guess.

Are we still not a family?

I thought I was, until I saw those new standards pop up.
