Team GTP - Back again!

Well, We have realised what our main weakness is, And its crosses, Its not our fault that we are bad at them, Its just they are nearly impossible to defend against because EA made them so overpowered this year, But other than that we seem to be getting results better than we were at the start of 13 but I suppose that is to be expected
 
I noticed crossing is OP on Ultimate team, was hoping it would be different for clubs :(
My plan has been to ignore the winger and stay close to the target, easier said than done! Often I still lose the header when in theory I have a better position.

One or two touches then pass works well, I have found myself going backwards and sideways lots more this year too.

Have you guys settled on a formation yet?
 
Not really, Since we havent really filled out most of the positions that we would have normally but typically we have been using a 4-3-3 variation or a 4-5-1 attack seemed to work not too bad

Interesting night, in general I'm liking the changes to clubs.

No waiting half an hour for a match only for the other team to leave because of a different number of players. It's all automatic, which is so much better.

No 5-minute kick.

I'm getting used to the player movement, I'm really liking how shooting feels, can't quite describe it, but it feels more realistic.

In general, the matches feel more like games of football, but plenty of tweaking to be done, particularly in heading.

I shot off a transfer request just to see how clubs works in a club lol funny that huh??

Drop in is so laughable at times..
 
Well I reckon we are looking good, crossing is not our best friend at the moment but the rest of our play I thought was very good. Some great passing moves and some lovely goals made it a pretty enjoyable night all round for me.

Goal of the night - R35.... Top right from way outside the box 👍 :)
 
Oh yeah that was some finish! the only nice really accurate goals/shots ive had is with my weak foot though :P
 
Some good games there tonight and managed to score in my first 2 games but failed to get a completed cross or an assist from any of the games which is worrying when having played wide for all of my games
 
Great night tonight, got some early games in and we were unbeaten (I think).

El-boggers was on form, scored in the second game, got a hat trick in the next, got 3 assists in the game after, then in the last game got another goal and another assist :D

I tried the any last night, really struggled, not played enough non-Clubs on FIFA. It's a difficult role!
 
I feel quite settled in GK since the midfield its saturated to poo.
 
I was waiting for the club to get a decent number of games under it's belt before I started doing stats and what not, but I can do it now if you want.
 
Some ridiculous AI goals last night, but getting used to the ANY now and being a CB with the ANY was useful.
