He gave it to me because he wouldn't be using it.
Then perhaps you should've considered starting your own thread, so that you could control the OP. We've had that before and the staff understands - it happens elsewhere with long-running threads. Using someone else's account isn't an acceptable alternative; I shouldn't have to explain why.
Thats crazy. Cant they just give me or Torretto the thread?
Unfortunately, that's not really an option; it is possible to "give ownership" of a thread to another user, but it's a complicated process, due to the makeup of the forum software. Each post has a unique ID; these are tied to the date the post was created, so combining one of your posts with Alpine's would bump the second post of the thread into the first spot. To be completely honest, I don't have a ton of experience with this process personally (only ever combining double [or more] posts from the same member in succession), and would rather not mess up an entire thread
I'll be letting everyone know things on the PS3 for now. But does it say that in the terms & agreements?
It does say it in the FAQ. 👍
I never found out that. Every time someone says something about the AUP on here they post the like. But the link is bunched up and confusing and no affence to Jordan but it could be a bit more organized with some subtle links.
Sure you don't mean the FAQ? It's organized much like any other FAQ you'd find on the internet. The
Acceptable Use Policy, on the other hand, is sixteen small bullet points that should fit cleanly in most browser windows
And to this I have been wanting to get rid of this price of you know what of a GTP Id name of mine. Reason it represents something I haven't been apart of for a long time because of the people in it.
I asked if the threads could be transferred if i made another GTP account and they said you have to have a premium membership to transfer threads/name of your id
$12 buys a year's Premium, and you can then PM Jordan about a name change. I can't tell you if it's worth it for the name change (that's your call), but I will say that the added PM storage is the biggest draw for me. The other option is starting a new account, but that'd result in your current one being banned, and all of the associated posting history therefore not being tied to "you", anymore.
