Hii Fam, how's everything? I hope to make a Nightslide next time around :)

Side Note: Why is it, when someone wants to praise another for their success, a random person comes out on the side with petty criticism? It is such a shame we cannot be happy for another's hard earned success. And take it as an inspiration rather then a threat. Shows what kind of people we come across in life. Moral of the story, never be a follower.

#Followers Never Prosper

No Replies necessary, this is just food for thought. Just had to get it off my mind. As I do admire leaders. Much Respect & Love to everyone. :gtpflag:

🤬 so I still haven't been able to get on this week :(. I've been helping my friend work on his truck, and it's being a real pain in the ass.

I should be able to get on tonight though...gonna be as rusty as my buddies POS truck :lol:

Ohh! Btw Yumi I went to rFactor, its so much fun

Well when you get another PS3, do let me know :D
Enjoy rFactor in the meantime. Reguardless on all the cons of GT6 and how much I dislike where the company is heading, GT has a place in my heart. Has been ever since GT1, therefore I won't be going anyplace 👍

@Isho good couple of laps last night 👍 We always seem to cross paths breefly lol, need a solid sesh...damn that ocean!! I don't think I'll ever get over how smooth you are in that GS :drool:

@CheladaJr & @alpacaflip, good little sesh last night. I love knockin' off laps like that :)

Hadn't used that Skyline in a couple months, and never in DT...needs some work :lol:

Yea! Awesome runs man. Had to cut it early since both of us were pretty tired lol.

I missed out on some fun, my damn connection sucks.

I hear PD fixed the camber issue, did you guys notice any difference?

I feel your pain, been there before. Saw you DC from Lay's room the other night too :(

Haven't had a chance to play since the update. I'll be testing later tonight (hopefully).

I wonder if the adjustment to the top speed of FR cars will affect drifting at all?

They adjusted the top speed as well? Hope it doesn't mess up the gearing in my tunes :boggled:.
I want to get home and test already, lol
From https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/gt6-update-1-09-undocumented-changes-in-op.311572/

Adjustments to the physics simulation model
The physics simulation model of “Gran Turismo 6” has been updated with the following changes:

(1) The dynamics of the car on surfaces with cornerstones and bumps have been improved;
(2) The effect of the tyre geometry has been changed (mainly for the "Camber Angle" option);
(3) The handling of some rear heavy cars has been improved;

The default settings of the tuning parts have also been adjusted to match the above changes.

Unknown changes:

•You can now see who is in the pits during a race.

•Small PP Calculation change

•Aerodynamic Calculation change

•T500RS Sync fixed

•FR cars now have slightly lower top speeds.

•Smoke is thinner

•Road Spray in wet conditions has been fixed

**Note** I pulled out only what was relevant to drifting (IMO)

I hate being stuck at work when an update comes out :lol:

Yeah good runs. My cars feel so bad in DT mode so sorry for my leads. Feels so unstable to me.

Ya that's the biggest difference I notice as well.

That's why I decided to try my Coupé last night, as I hadn't yet tried it in DT. The main problem I was having with it a few months ago was that I couldn't get rid of the excessive rear grip.

I had a 💡 moment when I saw a G37 in traffic the other day..."why not try the 370GT in DT, where all my cars seem to have less rear grip." I liked the way it felt in DT, still needs some tweaks, but I think I'm gonna use it as my main DT car for a while, see if I can't get it really sorted out.

Here's a fun way to lap the RBR short course I came up with. Not my best run, but you get the idea.

Initiate for the main section between 90-100mph.

For the turn-around at the top of the hill, wall tap on the right, then wall tap the pit exit on the left, then ride the outside wall all the way around.

For the turn-around at the bottom, use the white lines on the ground to initiate, aim for the white shack on the left, drag the e-brake to ride the wall as long as possible, then wall tap the blue and white wall before heading back onto the track.

Second view, from the roof cam to see the turn arounds more clearly.
