Haha! Greetings folks! I am back home, had a great time away!

Well as most of you know that I'm using the RX-7 (FC), I felt I should branch out to another back-up car (other than the WRX STI VI :P).

Alas I've chosen the Honda S2000!

Here are the specs for both the FC & S2000:

Max. Power 279BHP/7000rpm
Max. Torque 34kgfm/4000rpm
Weight 1065kg
PP 461

HONDA S2000 '06:

Max. Power 316BHP/8700rpm
Max. Torque 27kgfm/7200rpm
Weight 1125kg (further reduction pending)

Both cars are N/A tuned..

I find the FC easier to drift due to it having more torque but the s2000 is a lot more fun to drive.. the engine feels a lot smoother (strange). I was hoping there was a supercharger for the s2000 that would help boost torque but there isn't...

I played around with the s2000 with a slight tune at first when I got it from the dealership (similar to the rx-7 in terms of bhp). I tested them both on Tsukuba... this is what I got:

1:14.948 with the S2000 (Comfort Hard + slight tune).
1:15.709 with the rx-7 (Comfort Hard).

The s2000 definitely felt faster. I did the timings again but this time with sports hard on (drifting not grip):

1:07.561 with the S2000 (Sports Hard + slight tune).
1:07.562 with the RX-7 (Sports Hard).

Amazing, a difference of a millisecond! :)

I made a decision to further tune the s2000 and thus ended up with the stats I posted above. I T.T'd again on Tsukuba and here are the results post tuning:

1:14.265 with the S2000 (Comfort Hard). Satisfied indeed.

Then again I T.T'd with sports hard:

1:06.124 with the S2000 (Sports Hard).
1:06.624 with the Impreza WRX STI Version IV (Sports Hard). :P
1:07.562 with the RX-7 (Sports Hard).

I know we're more about tandem than speed but I noticed that my FC lagged behind when I practiced around with Mr.M.. The s2000 should close the gap until I crank more power outta the FC. :)

Melancholy and rotary i believe ? Haha your gonna miss out man :P

I'll possibly be video-ing, or I'll save the replay (make the battle in a race) and upload it for him to see, whether we win or lose. It'll give me a chance to see where I go wrong, too.

dW, apparently. That's not fully helpful.
 
Alright i'll finish the website tonight so we can avoid problems like this in the future.. Rotary seems busy.. redline are you sure he has the time?
