In some of the BEST racing I've seen yet the SSR Tournament was the first tournament that I have ever been a part of that had THREE tied races.

The Buick GNX was some GREAT racing, love seeing a very uncommon car at the drag strip.

The SVT Cobra Tournament was a great time I consider this to be a great start to what I hope will be a great event. With eleven participates there was a lot of good racing to be had.

I am starting a Modern Muscle Tournament.
1980-Present.

It will be held on Fuji from in front of the shadow to the shadow after the finish line which is 407 meters long. Only 7 meters longer than a quarter mile. Indy measures out at 370 meters, 30 meters short of a quarter mile.

The event will be held on a weekly basis 1 car per day.

The room will be opened to 9 spots and only 8 will race in NBA playoff style bracket. The extra spot will be for someone other than myself to moderate the event. First come first serve, unless you reserve a spot. I will open the room 30 minutes prior to the event, if a spot is reserved you have to show up within 15 minutes of the room opening.

Winner of each event will win 5 paints of winner's choice.
Overall points winner each month (every 4 tournaments) will receive a car painted with a color from the dlc.

Points system.
1 point for everyone that enters
3 points for 3rd place
4 points for 2nd place
5 points for 1st place

So anyone has a chance to win at the end of the month.

I'm interested in this. I've always believed we should be drag racing on a real track surface not like the one at indy. Eight keep me posted as I don't frequent this site please.

I like any of the camaro, SVT cobra, series one,srt 8, 300c, 2000 or older corvette, in my opinion the 2006 up corvette are more like super car.

Just my opinions.

Yeah I'm not including the C6, IE 2006/2009 The 2004 is a C5 similar to the 2000.
 
I won't be entering as I'm still not at the level I want to be at to be competitive but wanted to offer some feedback. I like the idea of using the cars that not many use very often like the Iroc concept, SVT Lightning, BMWs, older Vettes, etc. It presents an opportunity for people to enjoy cars they wouldn't normally take the time to experience. I also think a tournament featuring classic Japanese sports cars like the Toyota 2000gt, some of the older Skylines (60's&70's), and Fairlady Z's would be a nice change of pace. Maybe I'll put something together for this. Good luck with your event though!👍

4-doors, 2 seaters (series one, Vettes), and Astons respectively are not muscle cars (by definition).

Taking per-registrations now.

Tuesday 11/29/2011 will be the 2nd stage of the tournament, I will announce the car after we run SVTs
 
oh that was a great tournament, i even froze on the line cause of the so much tension lol, DiZZLE, that was great racing, i went in tournament with no hopes of winning and expecting to lose cause all of the people on that tournament are the greatest of the greatest of drag racing, to me it was a great show, my family watch me race and they were exited and they where rooting for others as well, man it was great time, im looking foward to be at these tournaments, mr 8 and mr gv yall the greatest, your tournaments are well organize, great people, great drag racing and a hell of a show
 
Thanks AKA, you were on it that is for sure. I know my svt is better than how it performed I just couldn't tree with you last night.

Let see how everything works out with the gnx, and I'll announce the next car that night. It's not going to be anything so common this time :)
 
this tournaments are extremely intense, not recommended for noobs, good racing, yall have the best tournaments :)

Thanks aka, just wish the word would get out seems like with one exception this always ends up as a team solo vs legion tournament lol.

:lol: You are right, looks like so, i want to get more people involved in it, what im thinking its on having ptk record the event and make a YouTube show out if it, making the tournament famous it will bring new tuners and it will call out the attention of must drag racing tuners out there, but the tournaments day its not a good day for ptk since he has private real life matters to attend to on the day, so if you guys can change the day to a more suitable day for ptk to film the show it would be great, if you like the idea contact ptk to get his response, also let me know what you guys think bout it :)
