GT-one TS020
Yay we are breaking ground here man! but how was it like and how many did you race against etc?
well i sat down last night with the intent of running b-spec.....but that same day i had hooked up a new router that would allow me to play gt4 on line....so i think to my self..." well i got lots of time to do my b-spec chllenge.so i'll try out the online stuff for a few"...this was at 11pm....
i started out racing some one in a m5...i belive..fully modded....it's hard to tell what you racing against unless you decide in the chat box on your pc.......well i chose a 500 hp jgtc (if thats the acronym) car of some sort....way too much power in comparison to the m5.....i kept lettin them pass so i could chase down and practice clean overtakes....
the next car i chose was a rx7 from the same class of cars..300hp ...my opponet mached up with a 350z from the same class (jgtc or whatever)...with 500hp...
this is the set up we used for several races....infenion....tsukuba...fuji...approcott..
and highspeed ring...even though my opponets car left me standing on any straight...i held the 350 with in view thru every corner.....
both of us were on the same page as far as clean racing.....i stayed in this guy's mirror in every corner and if he gained a lead in the straight i had the pressure on by the next corner.....trying every technique i could muster....late braking ...fake left then right ...managing crazy corner entry speeds ( yes i was using soft tyres and had to break traction a few times just to maintain enough speed...sounds silly but i had to put it all out on the table .... but race after race i found the spot were he just couldn't take the pressure.........SNAP!!!!!!!
and once i get the lead, usually on the last lap after the half way point i push it a little harder as he would always close in on me and it became a race not between us but would his car catch me before the finish line....
and race after race i managed to win.....except in speed ring twice (same cars) and once on appricott hill...(pushed to hard and spun....one spin in any of these races would result in a loss)....
now with my pride on the line i was furious...so i pulled out what i thought would be a big competitor....TOM'S supra.....oh ya i got alll serious on his a**..
i believe he was still driving the 350 so we had comparable cars but i had something going for me.....i was pissed as h3ll and i was in supra.....
BRING it ..i thought to myself ...it was tsukuba...3..2..1..we started and he got a better start only because i was insistent on burnin thru the first two gears....(even though there was no tyre wear i felt like my tires needed to warm up)...so i m right on his 6 o clock and the cars are pretty even matched so no overpowering here...(i had changed stratagies for this race took off the softs and put on hard tyres)...
we battled back and forth and each spun once but in the in the end his driving was no match for the the supras high speed corner entries and smooth no holds barred exits.......i win, not by a huge amount but by enough time to be able to spin a 180 and have him crash head on into me just inside the finish line....
then he switched to his m5 picked nuburg ring and this time i didn't feel like waitin around for him.......he shut the game off 3/4 thru ......
at this point i love being able to play gt4 online i hope in the future they upgrade a few things and make it more usable......the only thing that bugged me was sometimes there was a lag i have a cable connection..so the other player either was far away or had a slower connection...overall...i'll be back tonight...my xlnk namee.......what else sideslider..and if you make me mad i will be forced to use a toyota....
oh ya i went to bed at 2:45am sorry no bspec...maybe i'll still post the time just for comparison. 👍
