For easy transitions, let go of the brake and accel. But keep the clutch in.

Everyone who's new to the G27 Drifting scene, watch this video. Some of the techniques demonstrated here will help you to apply them to GT5. No, i haven't learnt from this video though.. I've been drifting with my dad since the age of 14. So through time i was exposed to these techniques and such..

Hey guys, just a little update on my progress with the G27. I can now drift around a corner without getting flick off, I'm getting better at controlling the car while its sliding & the cars I have been using are:
-BMW 135i
-Nissan Skyline 350 GT
-Nissan silvia S13
The tracks I've been mainly practicing on have been:
-Tsukuba
-Suzuka East

Keep at it. It will pay off. I am coming from a DFGT (which I mastered a while back) to a G27 so it is just getting used to the clutch and changing up the way i tune my transmissions.

You'll get it. I may suggest if you are having a lot of trouble try not using the clutch at first and apply it later
 
Hey guys,
Just found out that I'm actually coming back from QLD on the 10th of Jan instead of the 12th, so I will definitely be able to make it to the Stance meet/ cruise.
 
Thats good to hear that you'll be able to come HR. I checked my plans today and I'll be flying to NZ on the 14th which means I'll be at the meet as well. Because I'll spend a while in NZ I'm trying to get in as much wheel practice as I can
 
I unfortunately have bad news, we have surprise visitors from Melbourne, and their expecting a Tour around Sydney. However, they may be leaving just before the Stance Meet. So i can't assure my attendance on the day. But the Show must go on, so therefore do i have anyone who wants to take my place as event co-ordinater. If i am absent only that is. All i need is for someone to Post a Room-Number on the day, as well as co-ordinate a very good cruise with some great pictures, etc...
 
When the visitors from Melb come, i can't really tell them to piss off too LOL
 
I bombed all threads with Stance Meet Promo Material. It was classified as SPAM, Like seriously WTF. It's promotional material, for a Meet. Not a virus, money laundering or anything of that nature.
 
Oh true. Yeah, that's weird how it was classified as 'Spam', cause like you said, it's for a car meet and not a scam. Letting you guys know that I'm coming back to Melbourne today. Leaving Brisbane at 5:40 & should land in Melbourne at 8:40 cause of the change over to daylight savings. Hope to go online for a bit but will most likely be using a DS3 for a little bit, then later start setting up some cars for the Stance Meet/ Cruise.

sorry guys i was busy moving house and my dads gf didn't pay the bill for the internet so i had no internet since Thursday
 
Shame about the net, was a really good stance meet/wangan run. As for me, I will be AFK from GT5 for a fortnight now as I am currently abroad.
 
I have been affected by the looping bug of update 2.10 so i am officially out of action.

After updating to spec 2.10, My Playstation 3 seems to fail at the loading procedure of the game. After starting the game it passes the credits and the last Gran Turismo logo screen and continues to say (Saving...) it blinks on and off but nothing, if i go to the XMB bar while its loading and go on the game disc, it starts loading from the screen again... please help me with this problem.

But if i use another PSN Account, it workes fine..

That was happening to me, I found a way to fix it. Delete your game data utility and reinstall, but when gt5 is loading up, it tells you to install the game to your HDD, but don't install and it should work fine.
 
(Sort of related) - Oh, forgot to tell you guys, I recently purchased a R32 GT-R 1:18 scale plain body model car!!! Only 504 ever made!!!!! SUPER RARE!!! 🔰😱
 
Pics please. I'm also considering collecting die cast cars too. But only from AutoArt.

In other news, GT5 Online services are down, and currently undergoing maintenance. Hopefully this will resolve my current issue of update 2.10 Looping Bug.

Back to you HR32..
Sorry i've always wanted to say that in a forum. LOL
