Great time there.finally under1:02 with 1:01.7 in 55th made some changes and played around with different things will edit my tune later
Alright, well hopefully it can help somewhat. Just remember, I drive a very loose and throttle sensitive car, so it may take some getting used to. Good luck.
Try withWell after 30 more laps I improved my time so I'm around 1:05 and definitely can go for 1:04. Actually I managed 1:05.5xx and then realized that I was with 90% power because I used the tesla for some 450pp online races.
Anyway ...
For this car, going up the brake numbers will definitely improve your times. At least for me.
Adding wing at the back will improve counter steering but actually the back of the car becomes less responsive and you loose in some corners. So I'm not sure if adding rear wing will improve the lap times. My humble observations.
My biggest problem is rear traction. If I can make the car more planted trough the suspension rather than downforce I think I can be a bit quicker. Any suggestions because I don't understand tuning. ?
I tried your setup and I was not faster with it. I even wanted it more loose and increased negative toe even more. I found I left too much on the last corner. I am now trying low wing and even no wing. Have a good one :-)
Just improved my best to 1:02.284.
Got a late start on this challenge. Still experimenting with different settings. Even tried SH tires on front and CS on rear. Not sure if the camber helped or not. Next is to try all the same but no camber.
My set up is:
477PP 277hp 1037kg
Comfort soft front and rear.
Ride hgt. 95/75
SR 5.00/8.00

Edit: just ran a little faster(1:02.199) with Camb. at 0/0 and softened and raised the front end.
Front end changes RH to 100, SR to 4.39 Dc 4 De 7 ARB 3.

It looks to me like the inch up rims get a lower profile tire. So the overall diameter is the same.Snip.....
The higher diameter should further increase water displacement as a larger rolling diameter should increase the "footprint" of the vehicle and displace yet more water again, providing more grip all- round.
With the same diff gears as you presently use, it may also retard wheelspin on the exit of the slow, hairpin turns.
I think you are right, g2010ag..I just turned my console off, but from memory, the Top speed didn't change by simply changing to the taller rim.It looks to me like the inch up rims get a lower profile tire. So the overall diameter is the same.
I agree. I tried the inch up rims using the same suspension settings and they seemed faster through the first sector. Also, a lower profile tyre measuring the same overall diameter as the standard tyre could still be advantageous due to the rainy, slippery conditions. The stiffer sidewall in the low profile tyre may allow slightly softer spring & damper settings, thus improving weight transfer under brakes and under acceleration off the slow turns without trading-off too much in the sweeping corners.
More stubborn persistence here also. Improved a little(1:01.780). Switched to the 1 inch up rims and new experimental settings of:Small improvement to 1:01.577 , still using variation of lisanorm's tune.

I'm not sure whether it was due to the tune changes or just my stubborn persistence

Edit: Just noticed ABS set at 10. Seems to be signifigant.
My setup. Pretty similar to others already posted. Struggling to break the 101.5xx mark at the moment so some tweaks are in order I think The last sweeper really makes or breaks the lap. If you can power slide through it without braking you can make up 2-3 tenths no problems.

Cheers for the tip Leigh, managed a 1:01.423 with the following changes to my previous setting.

TOE -0.15/0.15
Of course I don't know about how to tune, but your Toe setting gave me the idea to try +ve numbers because I only use -ve numbers before for toe.
Thanks for the cool tune.I placed 599 with 1:04,662 at the moment
