B-Spec Stats

The only suprise to me here is that the FTO beat you.
I assume you did no tuning for this track (reducing downforce, cranking up gear ratios). In my experience, they don't do these things either, so there's no way he would have won if you did.
Even stock-for-stock though, I'd have put my money on the Skyline. Maybe your Bspec guy just sucks that much. Too bad, it's such a dissapointment when they loose the race for you.
The rest of the field is totally predictable. Brick of a touring car, followed distantly by all three of the close gear ratioed, high downforce rally cars.
What was PD thinking selecting the AI lineup for this race? The test course is one for LMPs if I ever saw one. (and then you could have fun standing up to them in high-power, low-drag street car.)

I started using B-Spec just a few days ago, so yeah, my co-driver isnt the greatest. I was gonna go A-Spec on the final pit stop, but the FTO was too far ahead. If I was racing A-Spec at the start, It would of been a whole lot closer. I never really get into the tuning part. I'm more confortable with the defult setup, but i know that it can help majorly if i do adjust somethings.

There's a B-Spec skill guide around here somewhere...

Anyway, I *knew* my favorite old FTO Super Touring was great...but...not that great... o.o

Tuning for the high speed ring is probably about the easiest tuning you can do.
Downforce: minimum
Transmission auto setting: way++
Tires: Super hard
Probably ride hight reduction helps too, but then you have to mess with damping and spring rates to compensate.

Agreed. Put downforce down, put auto gears up. 200 a-spec points are then simple in something like a ZZ2 since the AI never seem to go much above 230mph on this circuit no matter what they are driving, and there are plenty of road cars in the game that have been touching the wild side of 300mph apparently.

Probably a decent race to get some experience into b-spec Bob though, since there aren't really any corners he can screw up. :dunce:

I would bet on the FTO, if that was the race car from the older GT's. That 600 BHP one, oh, pure love :bowdown:

But yeah, the B-Spec guy tends to be afraid of high speeds, not that good choice in that race...
