TF Photohut - All Comments Are Welcomed! [11.18 - A Series of Farewells, Week 3]

Man I really got to get me that 908 racer, it looks so good! 👍

Good to see the TS020 getting some attention again as well :dopey:

I like all 4! The framing was a bit weird at first on the 4th one, but it works really well with that sky up there.

Doesn't look like a standard either. Can be challenging to obfuscate the details and edges on them. Sometimes they end up looking better than the premiums though.

I know how Amazingly Difficult it is,but a Superb job T-12.Love the HDi update as well

I'm getting the hang of it now (as you can see above) but the additional editing required is absolutely tiring.

Nice job. Not easy to get good pictures with a standard car. At least not for me.

It isn't easy to be honest, but you have to be abstract and unique; go for wide angles and capture the action. Compensate for the lack of detail.

I sound like I actually know what I'm talking about.

Love that car, was one of the best cars in GT3. You managed to get some clean pics of it, it has some seriously fugly textures

Ugh. :ill:

Why isn't the road car in? That's what I'd like to know...

Thanks. It's a bit of a handful when cornering though, you can get too wrapped up in the moment and overshoot the apex, lose grip, and find yourself ramming into a wall/barrier. I love and hate the 908 at the same time. :P

True on all accounts; especially with the visual update all the Standards have gotten recently. Makes my job that much easier. The zoom handicap still annoys me though.

I appreciate all of the comments, thank you. :D

908 and Toyota shots are sexy, great work. And you managed to make the Buggatti look slick, so props for that! That first and last 908 shots makes me happy in the pants. What? Am I sharing too much?

I love the last two shots.

Thank you.

I'm a bit surprised you didn't say you loved the second. Are you purposely not admitting to such to throw me off?

Nope. Share as much as you want, just avoid excessive details. Deal?

Liking the Veyron set, though I could live without the lens flares. ;) I like shots 2 and 3 most.

I felt I had to use the lens flare to, and this is for lack of a better word, flare up the extremely dull headlight projection. Is it overdone in the second shot?

 for the comments.

I like the constrast's weight you give to your pics. Special mention to the first two pics of the Veyron (including flare on the second one). I believe one of the lens flare on the 4th shot is not well placed (the one on the roof) and distracts me too much...

Hunh...I actually never noticed that. I've no idea why it's up so high though, I only applied it to the headlights and nothing else. :scared:

Thanks for the comment.

I like the first one more. I like the angle in the second better, but I feel like there is more noise on that one.
I'm not a fan of noise.

I'll change it. If I lose and was better off with my original entry...you all totally owe me $5.

Actually I just read what was the Theme and I understand now what You want to achieve with your entry So You can stick with it I think :D

I was hesitant to change anyway. I really like the way it turned out! :P

Damnit T-12! You stole my idea. I was set to enter Darth Cammerus!

Amazing shots, simply amazing.

Thanks for the comment, and sorry.

That is marvelous, getting it red was a brilliant idea since I always though that the original polished aluminium looked quite bland.

I'm a huge fan of Christine and even if this actually isn't a real Fury I'm quite touched. :embarrassed: How is that red hue called?

I think I used Super Red IV. I'd have to check to be certain.

Glad you liked it though, I'm also a fan of Christine; even have a 1:18 scale replica. :D

And the book. And the movie (on both VHS and DVD)...

Brillant work on this Vette! Very good choice regarding exposition.

Just a little opinion on the bokeh in the 3th shot: I assume you used f/2.8 or under aperture value. If, in real world and real photography, it can be usefull to get very nice bokeh with a very short depth of field, I noticed that, in GT5 photomode, f/4 o f/5.6 is better to get smoother/creamy bokeh. On the 3th shot, in my opinion, the bokeh is clearly not realistic and, worse, not esthetic.
