TF Photohut - All Comments Are Welcomed! [11.18 - A Series of Farewells, Week 3]

I absolutely love your photos of the Ferrari in the tunnel, the H2H entry is brilliant but I can't help but think that you should have entered the first shot for some reason. It just seems to stand out a bit more and has a bit more 'punch' to it.

As for your latest update, the idea is very much suited to the car and the 3rd shot is my favourite, you can almost smell those flowers (Even though they're spectators, aren't they?) rushing by with flashes of colour blurring past your eyes!

Mazda RX-7 Spirit R "Rotary Perfection"

Tried something incredibly different with this one. What do you think?

I love the second shot in post 204.

That one does seem to be the crowd pleaser. :dopey:

Nope, they are in fact flowers. :P

I had a hard time choosing one of the three, and like I mentioned in that post I'll most likely change it; even more so considering I edited one of the 458 shots from a previous entry and it looks stunning. Four options but only one can make the cut - I hate my life.

2nd shot looks awesome, as do the other 3.👍

Edit: was referring to the Ferrari @ Eiger shots, RX-7 ones look great as well, although not sure on that wing.

I believe you said the exact same thing about my RX-7 shot at Chamonix in GT4 (I think that location was Chamonix, I don't remember). Leave the wing alone!

Awsome shots as always, feel free to check my new update mate :) lol. Mclaren f1.

Thanks. :)

Like the last one of RX-7 Set.

About the flare in number 2, I don't know, kind of looks out of place to me. It's not that the flare is bad itself just that it feels wrong in that spot to me.

I see what you mean. Next time I use it I'll experiment with the placement as well, and not just the values.

Thanks for the comments.

IS-F is great 👍
The 2nd Scuderia way back in post 204 is just off the charts man! As is the gorgeuos rx-7. Good times :D

Thank you. :D

Sorry about the lack of updates for the past two days, I was quite wrapped up in a model I'm putting together. Ah, hobbies.

You painted it red??? Blasphemous. Although this is coming from someone who has painted a Kubel-Kubel Midnight Purple and a Schwimmwagen-wagen in Chameleon Blue...

Really nice shots in this gallery dude. 👍

I almost went with black but ultimately decided against it as I wanted something vibrant; and I saw both of those and they look ridiculous. :P

Thanks for the comment. Still working on something special that's taking a hell of a lot longer than I thought it would.

Daring? Daringly awesome.

Tried using some radial blur and wind to convey a better sense of speed. Thoughts?

I like the first shot. However I do wish the pixelated rain wasn't in the game, because your shot would prosper without any pixelated rain

The last shot is super smooth and a great sense of motion. Easily the best of the bunch in my opinion. 👍

I also like the first shot, the cars hue comes up really well in that one. Yes as TVR mentioned it is a shame about the pixelated rough edge rain. I hate that.

But quite a nice set all round.

GT Spec II Test Type - "Home of the Slayer", Part 1

Oops. A bit too much throttle....and I, er, ended up in the gravel trap.

Improving on the Photoshop skillz.

I love the one-dimensional tree palettes. How awesome are they?

Tinkering with the radial blur and wind, again. Take special note of the cones.

Next up, GT Spec II Test Type - "Home of the Slayer", Part 2.

Thanks for all of the comments guys. :) I concur that the pixelated edges are one of the most apparent downsides when taking various shots in the rain. It's even more apparent when you're smoothing them out. :grumpy:

I love the 2nd shot, it's so moody and dark! It's a nice lighting setup for such a dark car. The 3rd shot is nicely composed and well lit overall too, but the 4th one has been sharpened too much for my tastes. The road is too 'busy' and it draws my eye away from the car too quickly.

You think so? I think it works out rather well, then again, I'm still messing around with all the options in Photoshop so I'm sure your point is valid.

Shot one is a very aggressive angle, but maybe a touch tight on the crop. But Shot 2 is very nice. The dull darker feel looks good.

I was really attempting to convey an emotion here; a certain "a storm is brewing". Thoughts?

There's one last image but I'll leave that for when I post up some randoms later on.

Thanks for the comments. :D

There's no crop in the first shot, it's 1:1. Perhaps I should have used a better (longer) resolution?

Oh I just assumed it was cropped, then the framing is what I mean't. Still a nice shot though.

The second and third shots of the latest 3 are nice.
