Well the title says it all!
I'm a Brit living in Daytona Beach, Florida. Great to see so many from the old country on here!
I just signed up here now ironically as I wind down a sweet and enjoyable GT6 playthrough, and embark on a Project Cars (PS4/DS4) 'career'.
The GT6 playthrough was SO much smoother, and less frustrating than it could have been without multiple hasty visits to the Internet, and this site mostly (like 90%).
Tunes, tips, car suggestions, whines (oh yes!) and many fascinating long threads abound here! They occupied me way more than my original questions did after being solved.
Seems only fair to say a big THANK YOU to everyone. I believe I may actually be able to contribute myself in the future having soaked up so much knowledge, and experience now.
Not so much GT6 which I only started this year but more on maybe GT7 in future and Project Cars.
My history has been with the GT's from 1-4, completing each fastidiously 100%, including the 2 weeks it took me to complete 'mission 34'...Then I started 5 when it came out and UGH! Floppy disc loading times...
..so I left GT totally and went the way of flight simming...
Fast forward a few years to last month.. I set up the ol' PS3 in my kid's room suggesting she used GT5 to learn about cars before I teach her to drive...then I picked up the controller....and after a night of updates a different game shone forth...a playable one! Then I saw GT6 on PSN for $14.99....
The PS3 is no longer in her room but in the 'play area'. GT6 was worth the 24 hour install...., mainly cos of sites like GTPlanet, so thank you all once again for your help and support EVEN THOUGH YOU DIDN'T KNOW IT as I only just registered now to say thank you, and promise tobe more involved in the future.
Cheers mates and thanks y'all!

PS Admins..if this is in the wrong forum I do apologize..please move it to where it belongs
