OP(I figured it would be fun for people to suggest on what to do with half of my car or eerrr track or something...Well at least the new(:yuck:) 1990 Eclipse GS! $500 and the only things wrong with it-ish is the brakes and the instrument panel! First things first, strip all Weight!!! and get a working Tachometer!)
Also, a good amount of pictures were moved, so, sorry. But obviously the more recent stuff is at the back anyway.

Hey man, Dsm's, I likem. Dont like whats associated with them but it was my first car so theres a special place for them.

When was the last time the timing belt was replaced on this engine ?

These are interference type engines, when that belt snaps and the pistons come up and smack those valves,it's going to get real expensive...real fast.

$500.00 , not bad , how about some overall car pics. ?

Timing belt? Dunno, prolly needs it too considering there is an odd belt squeal at 4-7k?(i think; sunday we are getting the tach in) But perhaps if we feel like it...tho if the belt was anything like the SOHC 1.8:yuck: It will just have to persevere. But yeah sure some shots later!

Right on, here we gots some pics from phone again tho all at night, and 2 from my Rx7 being clean!
(images removed for being old)

Yeah considering it just has the regular DSM problems that mine had so i know what to do BUT heres the funny part that my friend had found out. Apparently one of my former co-workers actually drove this car because it was owned by one of his friends. He said that he had bought it for "about $500" a few years back with the wrong cpu chip, then he sold it "for about $500" to some other guy that lived in the town that we picked it up in.

Oh and I will remember that GNX but I had forgot one pic so that messed up my earlier ones and then everything went screwy.

Either way one new tach comin in on Sunday!!

the more I look at it from the front I kinda have the urger to paint the lenses black so the lights look like they have shades.....OR cheap window tint.....hmmmm.
Tho what 240sx are you talking about:confused: just in general?

So for about a month to 2 months We couldt figure out the damn ignition switch so, we had it towed to a shop and got that figured out so now we bought this:

Just wondering are you on the rx7club forums? If so ive seen picture of those lights on the Rx7 by the way where did you get them from. Also I may like to ask is it a turbo2??

I am on the Rx7 club forums. I got them from ebay, though I suggest the more expensive ones. And no it doesn't have a death snail on it, likely it will when the motor goes though. :) (hopefully no time soon)

How did you get the carbon fiber lights?

$13 sticker roll from O'reilys:tup:

I was curious how it would look because there are some actual CF ones on ebay but for $75 a piece.(i got the hood for $285) So really just kind of a temp thing like 4-6 months or if they peel.

Do you think that would look good on a gsl?

I agree with Rotary Junkie, the hood line doesn't match up, thats the reason i think it wouldn't look the best.

Why thank you, I just need to fix the top of the thing, then I should be good....In fact im almost done with my model car of my car.(minus the "extra" bits)
