As long as you're light hearted about it and in for a laugh, rice is fun. Me and some friends keep messin' with our other friend who just got a 100hp saturn. We said he needs a park bench and a fart cannon, just to joke with everyone about... I think he's gonna do it

Whoo BRAKES!!!!!
So they had to burn them with fire to getem off. That and a lift helps more then anything.
But I think I may actually put insurance on it and drive it. It so fun to see the stares you get...just gotta be quiet around the fuzz lol.
Then I also got around to doing this.
I think it looks a little bit better lol. Now I need my Functional roof scoop....
Believe it our not the Mighty Putty is holding the wire on there to stop my ears from bleeding(from the BUZZZZZZZ of "low coolant")
But im getting a replacement for $25(which i think is a little pricey but hey a new one is apparently $50)

I did that so that I could have a battery casing again and ordered the coolant sensor. But tomorrow im checking to see how much the rust removal and repainting of the top half of my car would be...either the vinyl would go/be partly removed Or Id paint it eclipse style(professionally of course) Black.
I also got my summer tires back on...those feel sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better

So I made an Excellent driveway chair....
Then this is what it looks like now:
I love the back seat now.....
Also I painted the Mistu thing...
Kind of looks like it has a black nose now but I do believe it needs a hood....Of black
Then I got the Fake CF off the lights:
And washed it...I think a pressure washer needs to be taken to the top:
After of course(well with the sprayer)
AND I taped up my Buick's light!
Also turns out I need to get my master cylinder done again at the shop that "fixed" it the first time.
Then this is what it looks like now:

Right, so the Rx7 seems to be in working order after having to re balance all 4 tires again
The Eclipse is getting its bars on today....and I too this short video of what happens when its warm:

Then I convinced my friend to buy this 1990 Acura Integra for $750
And when I drove it it was very strong, everything seemed good...check the mileage too:
And the Buick has been just dainty

And you figure with a 6 foot wing we might have issues with airflow...NOT US!

And then some hoodlums found what kind of paint we used:

I'm not suggesting leaving them stock, I'm just making the point that he's spending money to make them worse.
It's much more fun to actually have a nice car that you appreciate every day, knowing that it was done right, knowing that your efforts have not gone to waste.
Or even if they were left stock, just to actually be able to sell them and make a bit of cash to use for something.
I can understand if someone has a lot of money and they just want to mess around something, but Thatman obviously doesn't. Not trying to rag on him or anything, but just wondering what would lead someone to do this.
EDIT: @mazdaman: The difference between the turbo and non turbo motors is enough that it would be needlessly expensive to build the non-turbo motor and turbo it.

^If i were doing a rebuild I would likely seek to put better rotors,E shaft and larger exhaust ports on it. Dont really want to worry about all the extra piping if I was going to do something like that.

Do what? With my Rx7 im simply adding an Electric fan...something just about every car in the past 17 ish years has. I can see nothing wrong with getting a CF hood if its cheap, and a sound system is there to give me a seat massage.
As for my Buick, I added a cone filter and a CD player....
And for the Eclipse im simply doing whatever we feel like because it was bought with that intention, to have "fun" with. To laugh about. So if anything I would like you to elaborate.

Mainly the Eclipse. You say you got it just to "have fun" with it, so you're not fixing it up, right? Then again, you just spent time painting the wiper arms so they don't look rusted, and the front grill so it doesn't look as faded. So at one point, you're painting stuff to make it look better, and then at the other end you've got the most horrible looking muffler that money can buy, and a wing. I wouldn't want that on a car I own it someone payed me to put it on.
Basically my question is, if you're trying to make it look nicer/fix it up, why is there a wing and a fartcan on it, why is the hood spray painted black with chalk on it? Or, if it's just a beater to have fun with it, who cares if the wiper arms look bad, why make it look better just to trash it? In the end, you're spending money on it and it's not getting any better or worse. That's what I'm trying to understand. It's like when people keep dumping money into a piece of crap car when they could have simply got a better car for the money. I paid $400 for my car. It needed tires, brakes and tie rod ends, and from what I can tell it's a much better vehicle than what you've got so far.
Also, my opinion is that it's a better idea to simply make a nice car. If you don't understand that, then it's not worth even attempting to explain it.

Im painting stuff to put chalk on it. Wipers looked rusty, I thought we should chalk them up, same with the mirrors. The grill part was because I had it painted a gloss black and it needed to be chalkboard now my DSM can be made by anybody!
The little ol fart can was there because we replaced the entire exhaust system and needed some rice. Also the wing is there to add 150 HP(after-all its 6ft long) So apparently you think im trying to make this eclipse look better....im trying to think of fun ways for people to question me(on the $cheap$ that is). Plus its fun having a new hood theme every time it rains. And we needed new brakes and it needs a clutch. so just stuff to make it drivable.(something im going to do for my college class actually)
And I agree, cars should be made nicer, My rx7 for example. I put some nice tires on it, a nice sound system in it, i made a nice exhaust for it, put a nice hood on it.
The eclipse is there to joke around with. My "fun" is doing stuff that normally people wouldn't want to do with their cars; like taking out the passenger seat.(which btw is so awesome sitting in the back, there is almost too much legroom) Or putting a massive wing on it, it looks hilarious. Every-time i drive it i can only think of how funny it is.
Did that bring any light onto your question about what i do?
