So, has anyone been watching the US open? Who are you supporting? Discuss away ladies and gentlemen!

As for me, I'm backing Andy Murray to win his first grand slam, no Nadal to routinely stop him at the semis so he'll have a good chance of making it to the finals. A matchup against Djokovic in the semis would be a great match, havent seen those two go up against each other in a grand slam in a long time.

As for the women, Sam Stosur all the way! Can't wait to see her matchup against Azarenka, apparently she hasn't dropped a set against STosur in all of their grand slam meetings, so it should be interesting.

Federer got knocked out by Berdych! Quite a thrilling game and its too bad Federer couldn't capitalize on the switch of momentum on the 3rd set. This is the first time in a very long time that there is neither Nadal nor Federer in the semis. Thats 1 out of the big 3 out!

On the other hand, so sad to see Andy Roddick go. Loved watching his rocket serve cause havoc on players.

The Joker took Del Potro. But Del Potro was magnificient.

Edit: Bryan Bros brought it home again. Right now Sharapova playing with Azarenka. Literally.

Del Potro didn't deserve to lose in straight sets. He played his heart out. Fantastic match!

Missed the women's finals because it shows at 6:30 am here.. but I will try to watch the men's finals. Hopefully Andy Murray can finally win his first major, I feel he's improved his game to the point where he deserves it now. Glad he's more aggressive now, the old Andy Murray was boring to watch.

Andy Murray is doing his level best to throw this away... 4-0 up in the second set, and it's now back to 5-5... :indiff:

edit: I'm just going to shut up now... :P

Epic final. Pretty much tired both of them out but Djokavic was clearly gassed at the end.

Awwwwwwwwww Yeah. Andy Murray!

HELL YEAH!!!

What an utterly incredible match... Murray played like a man possessed, even in the sets he lost... if only he hadn't lost the first game in the 4th, he would have wrapped it up sooner... but the 5th was amazing... Djokovic is such an amazing athlete and competitor, but Murray just pulled off some of the most incredible shots - for FIVE SOLID HOURS.

I'm astonished at just what a sporting spectacle I've witnessed... well done to Andy Murray, a truly heroic performance.

I honestly do think that I have witnessed one of the greatest sporting moments in history.

Still in shock. Not tired. Buzzing.

Nadal v Federer in the Wimbledon final a few years back was the greatest game I've ever seen until now, but even that would struggle to compare to tonight's game... what a credit to the sport these guys are though - no quarter asked and no quarter given... a proper rollercoaster ride... and thank goodness that Andy found something when he looked all but defeated... astonishing.

That's the most insane part! I mean, he was out of it. No way could he come back into it and then...well. He did. I couldn't contain the "WOW"s, "Oh"s and "Ah"s even at this time in the night.

My all time favorite game was the Roddick-Federer final in '09. It just got bested.

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Fantastic match! So happy for Murray, that was one incredible match and it was an absolute joy to watch. I think after this performance and at Wimbledon and at the Olympics Murray finally deserves to be up there with Nadal Federer and Djokovic, not just the middle man between them and the rest of the players :sly:. Go Andy!!!!

Edit: Nadal-Federer at Wimbledon 08 was definitely up there in one of the best matches I've watched. Also Djokovic-Nadal at the Australian Open 2012

Non-finals match for me. Isner-Mahut. Wimbledon 2010.

Amazing to wake up to the news that Murray won a grand slam! Amazing job from him, I think now he's proved to himself he can do it, he'll become a much stronger player.
