And... admission of hitting the Belmondo Courage.

from Auto hebdo (French Magazine):
and about the contact with the Belmondo Courage : " 'I was right behind him. He must had seen me and not brake that hard in the straight as he did when he saw the yellow flags for the Corvette.' says Sebastien Bourdais"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, it was Belmondo's fault for braking at a time when Sebastien thought it was not appropriate. Nope, Yellow Flags, Smoke eliminating visibility, I can't think of why anyone would brake under such circumstances either.

Sorry you missed it, Kart buddy. That's okay. I'm still 0 for 4 for watching the very end of the 24 Hours of Le Mans! Le Mans 2005... I'll wake up early to see the very end, then go back to sleep a happy man. If not, then I want every last JGTC race queen to tackle on me. Oh, yeah... I love the JGTC... :)

Anyhow, it's :( not to see you see the race, Kart. Look forward to a highlight show sometime in the future.

WEBSITE OF MENTION:
http://www.speedtv.com/commentary/11612/

Australian Leigh Diffey, along with Bob Varsha, and Calvin Fish shared commentary at the bottom of the webpage above. Before the witty end of the commentary Diffey provided, a makeshift team of Diffey/Varsha/Fish raced in a Porsche 911 Cup Car. Here is Leigh's report from the lap he took with his colleagues:

"The three of us all got to drive the circuit ourselves (with thanks to the Michelin Driving Experience) in Porsche 911 Cup cars. It was an experience I will never forget, and nor will Calvin. You see Monsieur Poisson was my passenger and when I accidentally went from 5th to 4th instead of 6th at the end of Mulsanne, poor old Cal thought his TV days were over. I managed to get it in the correct gear and everything was fine…apart from Calvin’s heart rate!!!"

Good stuff from him. Anyhow, Le Mans (not to exaggerate, but...) should be a motorsports holiday. It's right up there with the Indy 500, Daytona 500, Bathurst 1000, and all of them. Just because the race isn't an oval track doesn't disqualfy it as a motorsport weekend. Just think of it as a wonderful diversion from what you're used to seeing. Be sure to read all of the race report Leigh Diffey had to offer after the race. It's pretty interesting. I'm out.

Hey I was searching for pics of the cars since I missed the race but I haven't found much. Anyone know a good site or have pics? I mostly want to see the new cars they add, if there was. As well as updated cars. Thanks
