Hey,
The Solid versions come via the 430 Scuderia 👍 Did a bit of buying research
Igwyana, that's interesting..because according to the GT5 Color Database, the Grigio Alloy and the blu Tour de France Metallic also comes from the Scuderia. And they dont list the solids. I just doublechecked. And when I look at the dealership, there is only ONE Grigio Alloy version and one blu Tour de France version. But the paintchip comes in both solid and Metallic! ?

Yes there is only one chip for each car in the Ferrari dealership, all other models available in those colours you get a Metallic chip but not from the Scuderia, that model comes in solid only for those 2 colours. I would say some presumption has come into play when creating the database as all models but the Scuderia have metallic chips. I've posted in the database thread in Q&A 👍
I would imagine that other colours from the Scuderia also awards the Solid chip verisons but I haven't tested that theory yet

I could very well imagine that your theory is correct. I've just checked with my Ferraris, and the blu Tour de France comes from these 5 cars, and I am absolutely certain that the others, as you say, have metallic chips.

This "cluster" of 5 cars also appears in these Metallic paints in the GT5 Colour Database:
Blu Mirabeau
Grigio Alloy (already discovered as a solid)
Grigio Silverstone
Grigio Titanio
Argento Nurburgring has only 4 of the 5 "clustercars" the 5th is the Scuderia..which is a solid!
It could be interesting to test your theory, if its true, the Grigio Alloy should be attached to the Scuderia, and for example the Grigio Silverstone should be a solid, not a metallic and attached to the Scuderia?
