Here are a bunch of Chalk drawings done on the streets, they were passed onto me at work and I thought you guys might like to have a look, they are truly fantastic.

Some of those are absolutely amazing in the way they play with your vision and some of the others do not quite jump out as much. Either way, that is very good work to produce such a quality product.

Nice drawings. Those would probably hard to walk across. Screws up your depth perception. lol
Nah, it's only when viewed from a certain angle they look like that.

When walking across them they're actually hard to make out anything except colour.

Go perspective! 👍

That guy has a show on one of my HD channels that follows the him and the drawings he does. Great stuff, thanks for sharing it with us.

I'm sure there are easier ways to slice a melon - and who'd be up for holding the melon when the guy slicing it can't see what he's doing? :ill:

Yeah, Concorde was retired but not replaced, one of the few vehicles to have this.

Some images from The Netherlands my aunt took during the morning after a frosty mist went through her town during the night.

A view of Hurricane Felix from the International Space Station. At the time of the photo, the hurricane was south of Kingston, Jamaica, moving west at 21 miles per hour (34 km/h). The sustained winds were 165 mph (266 km/h) with higher gusts, making Felix a category 5 on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Scale.

^ Don't do that, we like the class to participate. It looks like you have the right idea but someone has just beat you to it. I know its 14 pages but go ahead and look at all of them at least once to find out what we have come up with already. Besides, it’s really worth your time to check them out.

Keep looking and keep posting. 👍

actually to see more posts I increased number of posts to show per page to 100 but problem is I cant keep all photos in my head then I think it's a new photo. anyway I'll be looking for a brand new cool photo :) Thanks for your supoort 👍

Those HDR shots would've been fresh a year or two ago, but seem just too much these says. Maybe it's my tastes that have chantged, but most of those shots would've looked just as spectacular and less kitschy without the drama.

edit - case in point - Pupik's photo.

This was my desktop at work. "Steam locomotives of the Chicago & North Western Railway in the roundhouse at the Chicago, Illinois rail yards.", photo taken in December 1942. Available in larger resolution (3,500 × 2,715 pixels). I have little fascination with trains, but this photo just floors me, since I've always like old photos with tons of detail.

The seven year old train-enthusiast in me is up and excited. Thank you very much, Pupik. BTW, Pupik=Bellybutton in Hebrew...

Do you have any idea how mean it is to post something like that when I just woke up after only 4 hours of sleep?!?
