Delighted to have found this talk by Paul Sereno, paleontologist and author of one of my favourite scientific papers, there's a superb clip of him and his group attempting to measuring a live crocodile at about 11 mins onward :) Great talk, recommend watching the whole thing 👍
 
Thomsonfly 757-200 getting a birkstrike and engine failure on takeoff, you see the failure and hear how the pilot calls mayday and then communicates with traffic control to return for landing. Very interesting

Unbelievable! Just trying to organise each individual photo would be hard enough, but to actually put it all together to flow to smoothly around the secondary environment is insane.

How can I void it? Although, her sudden celebrity is a bit disturbing to me actually. If she were some 20-something hottie would anyone have cared? Or would it just be another in a line of TV talent show winners?

She still needs polishing. I'm kind of sick of TV Shows with all this fuss over people singing.

Also, that Macaskill video was AWESOME. The tree flip and the fence ride were the best.

Her singing in itself wasn't really the point of the whole video. It shows just how wrong people took her singing, and it shows that people should be more patient before unveiling their opinions about somebody. Also, it's kind of pathetic that a women with a beautiful voice has to wait 47 years before she can sing before the crowd she's always wanted to sing for.
