Ok, so I tried to use a higher resolution for downsampling. I run at 2560x1440 and took this screenshot below.
It's a lot better than what I used to get in 1920x1080 but still, not quite as good as most of the ones posted here.
Here are my full settings in AC:
2560x1440 60Hz
Single Screen
Fullscreen Rendering
Vertical Sync disabled (but enabled (on - smooth) on nVidia control panel for ACS.EXE)
83.3 FPS Framerate limit
4x AF
4x AA (8x CSAA override on nVidia control panel)
Max Word detail
High Shadow Resolution
High smoke generation
PP Fx: Mr. Alpem Bright (mod)
Overall: Ultra
Glare: Ultra
DOF: Ultra
Color: 90%
Motion blur disabled
Crepuscular rays enabled
Hear shimmering fx disabled
Fast Approx AA disabled
Medium Reflection Quality
Medium Reflection Rendering Freq.
The nVidia control panel has these overrides for ACS.EXE and showroom:
AA: 8x CSAA
AA Transparency: 8x supersample
VSync: On (smooth)
I run a GFX 690 on a i7 970 3.2 Ghz with 24 GB RAM on Windows 8.1 64 bits.
Would someone please tell me how to achieve better screenshots?
Thanks!!
