Marlboro SCCA 1962
The actual lineup: http://touringcarracing.net/Races/1962 Marlboro.html (for the 12hr race, which these photos aren't ) (Roger Penske in a mini! )
A news report for the 1964 Marlboro 12hr: https://www.sportscars.tv/Newfiles/Marlboro12hr.html (just for flavor)
Sportscar Mega Index: https://www.sportscars.tv/Newfiles/homecar.html (wow) https://www.sportscars.tv/Newfiles/1index.html
best airtime winnah!
heaviest airtime
Bob Holbert drove a Saab 96
lotus 11 wasn't at the '62 12hr but definately in SCCA
Aronde (never ran-oops, ran in '61) @ Marlboro, but it fit the part and runs well against the Dauphine 1093. (stripped chrome/ bumpers off many of these cars...)
*Check the lineup for the '63 Marlboro 12hr (link at the top + click).
Hobbo in a Volvo, Mark Dononhue in a Renault Dauphine ! (Couldn't find a pic though... anyone? He must have done it for kicks. I hacked one up.) (His first car listed on the MD's car site is the TVR Grantura, which we got!)
Jackie Stewart was there in '64 and '65... Jackie Ickx in '65 and '66 in a Cortina. The final 12hr in 1967 (TransAm begins) saw Peter Gregg, Sam Posey, Bob Tullius, Tony Adamowicz, Dick Thompson...
Sure do need that Volvo PV544. Anyone? (Found a Race07 version... might have to learn conversion, unless YOU want to do it )
Need a Peugeot 404 too!
