I was just trying to be cheeky. Yeah...I hear a lot of complaints about the 918. People who love it will say things like, "you have to drive it a bit differently than the LaFerrari..." Ok. Fine. Mind telling me what it is that you're doing different? Last I checked, it had the throttle & brake pedal - all three of them do. Do you need to brake earlier? Do you need to stay off throttle mid-corner? Do you need to be a gear higher than normal and let the 918s enormous low-end torque and AWD do the rest?

They never want to provide and answer, like it's some freakin' secret. They're probably just Porsche 918 fanboys who are too butt hurt to admit they can't drive it well either. I'll admit that I suck with all the cars. How 'bout them apples?

Is your Hypercar Showdown™ only 1 track? Or are you going to try a variety of different kinds of tracks?

Yes it does require some different driving. Still trying to work it out. I think it requires a far more aggressive turn in.

Oooooh you're as naughty as those damn teasers at the end of TV shows. "Next week on The Americans...". I honestly refuse to watch those little teasers because I like to be completely surprised when I see a new episode. But anyway...I'll be interested in seeing which track(s) you've decided to use. After my response to you earlier today I loaded up the 918 at Silverstone GP. My God...even with Hypercar Trofeo tires and traction control set to #1 that thing was spinning out on me like crazy on my first few laps. It was probably 45% due to cold, over pressurized tires and 55% due to me not paying attention to load transfer. I should have opened up the developer apps to see what the forces involved were. I think the 918 is a car that greatly benefits from left foot braking, which I can't do.

Very nice photos. I see that you winterized the Nordschleife. Since you did that, do you also drop the air temperature as low as it will go? And do you adjust the surface grip to something lower grip? Or do you just like the way that it looks and you keep the driving conditions as you would if you didn't have this mod installed.

I have the Autumn Nords mod installed, but I still usually drive at 20° to 26° Celcius. Occasionally, I'll go lower. A few times I've put the temp as low as it will go, but I don't think I've ever set it higher than 26°. I don't know why. I should try it today.
