The easiest way to make sure it will fit is to set the width and height to be the exact same (square). For instance, the TS050 avatar in the above post is 662 pixels wide and 670 pixels tall. While I believe this is okay as the height is larger than the width, 662x662 or 670x670 would be the best. 1:1 aspect ratio.

I kinda go the lazy route of just using this as reference:

It fits exactly inside the alotted space for the avatar so all I do is size and cut.


Also for those that do these avatars (@christara321 and @Whitetail just to name tw off the top of my head), I'm curious to know if you guys have something premade like I do or do you just create them on the fly?

Ok then. First few times I did just that but after learning I could convert any image into PNG, I actually made a custom PSD file so that it made it easier and cut down on time.
