Why does nobody recommend the best 4WD car producing firm: Audi :)
RS6 fully tuned with some miles it can reach over 950HP

AWD is not drifting.

Stop right there. This is not the place for that discussion.

Furthermore, technically, any vehicle performing a controlled slide IS drifting. Whether it's allowed in the "drifting" motorsport is completely irrelevant.

Stay on topic guys...

To answer the OP's question, I absolutely love my Honda Odyssey (takes a lot of tweaking, though), and my Evo IX.

;)

I'm still a beginner drifter so I can't really comment on much 4wd drift experience, but I drove the Tommy Kaira ZZII completely stock, and it loves to get sideways while still being very controllable.

As I happened to mention a few days ago, stay on-topic or risk an infraction. One infraction issued, and a bunch of posts erased.

Any more cases of "You can't use that word, only WE can use that word!" will be met with similar responses in this thread.

Interesting side discussion on drift behavior of different drivetrains also removed. While I agree it is a good discussion, it should probably go into its own thread, as I'm sure it will lead to the same old debate as to why AWD drift cars are frowned upon in tandem drift rooms.

i nvr tried 4wd, but ill go with you guys and getting the subaru ( to bad i rm`d it) and if i got a grammar infraction does that mean all my post will be deleted as well?

If it(the post) doesn't concern the topic, then it is a possibility. If the readers cannot understand it, then a reminder will be sent.

Is your shift key broken?

There is absolutely NO reason why you can't capitalize the beginning of sentences, use "I" instead of "i", capitalize "Subaru", I mean it is a brand name... and what in the name of Caesars Ghost does this mean?

( to bad i rm`d it)

Please, at least try and use English to the best of your ability. It is part of the AUP you agreed to when joining this site.

You see that little blue box next to delphic's name (it says super moderator in it ;) )
That means you don't **** with him yeh?

Just like the OP, I am a beginner in drifting. I couldn't complete one corner with a car with RWD, so this is what I did.

> Course Maker
> Alaska(Snow) - made a very complex track
> Bought the 07 Subie and took a tune setup from the Depot
> Probably did 30-45 mins in the snow track I made

After that, my hand movements on the wheel improved probably 200%. I mean I can probably do lock to lock with good control (not just spinning it) on a G27 in no time because I went on and try my newly learned skill in the kart track I made which is also complex and super sharp turns. I don't have a handbrake mod yet so go figure how I had to slide the car.

So, that session on the snow track really helps because you focus more on wheel control rather than initiating a drift which can lead to frustration on a dry track. Also, practice your throttle control at the same time.

Watched the "Drift Bible" once again and really decided to stick with power over, feint, or my favorite.. braking drift! Took the Subie to Tsukuba and I actually did well the first lap so decided to stick for another 15-20 mins. After that, I've been doing well with that car and was so happy that I can finally drift.

Then, I tuned a RWD from the Depot and began drifting with FR. This time, I saw an improvement. The only thing I need help with FR is maybe getting the car stable right after I exit the drift. Any pointers? The problem is once I exit, I somehow couldn't control the spin of the wheel, is it because the car has too much power? I tried it on a 08 M5 I think.

IMO any r32 gtr is the best for 4wd drifting. with the torque splitter, its like you almost fully disable the ATTESSA sytem.

Gallardo with a 10/90 torque split got me around 10k on the Tsukuba Section session around one hour into drifting (never tried drifting, ever.)

I did not see any blue box next to his name. :dunce:

On topic, I usually drift with a 240sx, but I like to have fun with my Skyline as well. I have most, if not every modification done to it. I use Comfort: Soft tires, fully customizable 6 speed gearbox with the top speed set to 205, (I also change some of the gear ratios up a bit but I won't go into detail) LSD settings are stock, and my center diff is set so 90% of the power is sent to the rear wheels. I find it very helpful because it can swing the rear end around like a rear wheel drive car, but with the little bit of power at the front, it can exit the drift very stably. I used a tune from one of the garages on this site to perfect it even more so.

I am using a Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II (R32) '94
