The best car for drift

Sorry if there was already a topic for this but I'd like to know what everyone's favorite drift car is. Mine would have to be the Toyota corolla levin gt apex '85. Please, give me a reply.

my evo v hybridid with a 16000rpm engine with 1556 bhp is aewsome for drifts oh and the v8 mazda mx5 with around 400bhp is also very good

Just out of curiosity, why arent cars like the Stratos and Elise used for drifting? Too hard?

I tuned a Stratos, but I didn't like very much the stratos, I can't control it very well, but Lotus Elise is easy to drift.
Lanevo3?
I had try it, but it was a little hard to drift.

Please, people quit posting in the drift forums with your AWD cars. I'm not against them but they aren't drifters, they just kinda slide around while the front tires pull them. Also FWD dont drift eaither they ass drag. European cars sometimes have not enough torque or not enough speed so they are hard to drift. My favorite car would be the Nissan Sileighty and the Trueno.

Thats my quote from another thread!:P

Any-hoo........
It depends on how you like to be in control.....
High Horsepower cars- I would pick the Chaser
Easily controlable- NSX
The best all-around drifter would be the go-kart of cars THE TRUENO:mischievous:

For me, some Awd are fun to drift, as Mine's Lancer, but I usually drift with Rwd, because, drift with rwd cars require control, and I get better drifting with Fr cars. About the FF cars, I just say as Bunta say in Initial D Arcade Stage "Drift with e-brake, isn't drift." :mischievous:

My favorite car for drift is the Altezza 280T tuned by Tom's. Put your suspension settings all stiff and sport tires all the way around, good times. Also put on full rear brake and one front brake, makes the car set better. And all wheel drive cars dont drift!:banghead: they just slide the rear while the fronts pull them along. Use RWD! it actually requires skill! anywayz...... keep drifting alive and watch out for the wicked juggalos!

The Great Milenko!

I can drift some cars with sport tyres, like the r32. But for me the 4wd don't need very skill to drift, Fr cars, this cars really needs skill to drift with control,

in my opinion, fr cars are the easiest to drift becauz of the eze of breaking traction. all the rx's, supras, and rear wheel skylines drift beautifally

yes someone agrees w/ me on the RWD issue.:) :) :) I use sport tires at first and then if it doesnt have enough grip then i go to hard tires on the front and normals on the rear. the softest tire i will use is a medium on my RWD skyline, which i dont really like all that much. sorry SKYLINE fans it is just not my style. ;) anyone from GA? me and my brother are the only decent GT2 drifters in Cobb county. LOL everyone says they drift but they just run into walls:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

i like to drift with the evo III and the rx-7 a-spec

*now its more like an AE86, RX-7 A-Spec, (May sound wierd to you, but the) R34, and the Sileighty heh*

4wd drifters? what is wrong with you people? use rwd and learn some car control.:banghead: a toms altezza is the best car to learn with and the use the ameia*sp? rx-7 and then you are good. well im out like a fat kid playin kickball.

you dont have to drive high powered car just to learn drift... theres also underpowered cars like AE86, cappuccino, and many underpowered FR's .... but it is also best to learn drift in 4WD as well

evo 5 is good, but you dont need it to be a hybrid, just buy yaw control and set it to hard(101). and how you would drift in gt2 is different for gt3. you do more 4-wheel drifts in gt2
