The Best/Worst Threads and Posts in GTPlanet History

I know this is going to be an unpopular opinion, but this feels a lot like "let's dig up as many bad incidents as possible and laugh at and pile on the posters" thread. I get it, much of them were funny, but they've already gotten their ridicule. A lot of those people ended up being banned for their behavior; do we really need to just drag all the fails back up from the grave again, fails that frankly is more like the worst of GTP History?

It's passed. Let it go.
Oh man. Now I feel like I did something pretty bad here. :guilty:

Dig up as many bad incidents.

Well, it's like us laughing at SOPA.

Also, can we nominate self made cracks? I remember something I said that went:

"What's not wrong with the Veyron?"

Indeed. The "I should me admin" thread gets mentioned on what seems like a weekly basis. Why the obsession with the past? The Zuel issue ended up showing the bad sides of a fair amount of users here too; you know, the ones that stalked him all across the internet outside of GTPlanet.

I get to say it for the second time in as many weeks:

Posting your own posts in this thread = laughing at your own jokes.

Thank you, @SlipZtrEm. Not being a member of the staff I was finding it difficult to drive that point home without sounding like a wannabe mod. GTPlanet is a lot more to me than teenage ridiculists, grumpy old men, and unemployed time-wasters; we can find that at most probably every social-networking site in cyberspace. GTPlanet is a place I visit for intelligent humor, informed opinions, and (quite often) current news before the media circus gets hold of it.
What one focuses on, I believe, influences one's perspective.

There is a huge amount of scintillating, thought-provoking, informative, delightful-to-consume posts scattered throughout these fora that show that GTPlanet attracts more than just ridiculists and the ridiculed.

Kudos to those that can find those posts and bring them back here.

Considering most of the stuff posted in here is people's meltdowns or bans, I feel that it can all be summarised in one gif.

There is some bad stuff in those threads.

In the spirit of @Crash's post, I would like to nominate this post as one that generated the most discussion and intrigue in the time I have been around here. The fact that all of the riddles were more or less proven spot on 18 months later makes it even better.

This thread should be renamed the Schadenfreude thread.
I had a feeling someone would mention something about having pleasure with one's misfortune somewhere in this thread.

This has already been mentioned, but I'll tag you on it 👍

This is still one of my favourites, more for nostalgia than anything else, but they were good times back in the day. I mean, look at all those in-jokes, double posts and AUP baiting comments before the AUP was what it is today. Love it. :D
TIL the Austin Allegro was in GT3. :dopey:

I only learnt that word a few weeks back. It's already one of my favourites.
It has German heritage, too! ;)

I feel this deserves to be on the list... This thread was responsible for the highest number of visitors to GTPlanet in its history.

Also this one might be good to add, GTPlanet's 100,000th member, @jwane from Indiana who got lifetime premium.

It's good to have a thread like this so new members can see and old members can relive some of the sites most epic moments.
