I've notice people getting black screens when an online race starts. When I entered a course last night right under where it says Practice there was a scrolling line/dots that didn't go away. If you see this you should probably back out of the room and exit GT6. I didn't and I got a black screen while everyone else was racing. I then pushed the PS button to quit game. I then got the already mentioned triple beep and the system wanted to do a file system restore/repair. I just thought I would share what I saw so it possibly can be prevented by exiting the course, room and GT6 and starting over.
 
You can't change the oil on a racing kart, but you can overhaul the engine (which changes the oil for you) at 0 miles.
I'd call that an error because there's no point of blanking out the oil change option when we can do it with the overhaul engine option. :rolleyes:

Might be worth noting that I'm pretty sure PD modelled a Lotus Europa S1 and called it an S2, Difference being indicator position.
 
Played a few hours online yesterday, driving with friends, and in almost every free drive and race there was at least one of my friends with a glitched, wrong name tag hovering above them. I can see this may become very critical in serious racing lobbies.

This was especially weird when a friend went off the game and even signed out of PSN, yet his name tag still was above a car that sat next to me. I then asked who was in that car and it was a completely different friend.
 
LLC Rocket, in cockpit view you clearly see the front tire, but in fact, they are covered with a carbon fiber "top" (dont remember the actual word for it!! :scared:)

Got SL55 AMG as a gift, tried it's top speed and it did 362km/h, hitting rev limiter in top gear (5th). I am pretty sure, this car with it's 490hp can not do 360 in real life :)

Just about every single car in the game has a higher top speed than in real life.

ASCARI IS UNPLAYABLE. I GO OFF ONCE OR TWICE AND TRY TO GO BACK ON THE TRACK WHERE I WENT OFF, PUTS ME FROM 1st to 16th EVERYTIME! does not record my lap or anything simply does not count it! it is such bs, that track is so bad i cannot complete the 10 lapper at it without this happening.

Because the place you are going off is where the lap start/finish is, so you miss it, putting you at the back as it still thinks you are on the same lap!

Once you learn the track its all good!
 
I lost the engine sounds on my 15th anniversary Audi R8 LMS Ultra from 5k rpm and above. Sounds normal up to 4k, then it drops off and all I hear is transmission whine and tire noise.
I think the Ford GT Mark 1 15th anniv. has the same problem, I'll investigate and report later.

My game freeze every time I go to the kart racing 100 event. I completed one event already and went to the second race and right when they are about to show the track description the game just freeze up. I tried at least three more times and it just kept freezing. So now I guess I can't do that event until pd patch that up along with others things that people are reporting. The good news is that all the other events work so that's good. I just skip that event and went on to do other events.

Everytime when I want to compete in the 125S Go-Kart Cup in IA-Hall my game freezes when entering the first race and have to reboot my PS3. After which my PS3 has to do the data check... Seems some game copies freeze at different locations. Hope PD will solve this soon. Anybody else had this happen with this event?
 
There is a visual glitch that bothers me. When you change the wheels of any car, the new wheels are less wide. It appears that it is not affected by the type of wheel installed. If they are not original wheels, they are less wide. The performance of the car does not seem to be affected by this.
 
GT6 Stuck at loading screen. Went to XMB to quit game. PS3 triple beeped, rebooted. Came up with the system wasn't shut down properly and would I like to send an error report to Sony. Did so and now I have the message the file system on the system storage may be corrupted. System restart and check file system and rebuild if necessary.

File system check and restoration in progress.

Game appears to have loaded at this time.

Ferrari 430 not shows gear in the cockpit dashboard (it does in GT5).

There isn't weather changeabilit in online rooms
 
Had the demo running overnight. Tried to play in the morning and all the sounds between the start and finish of the races were gone. As soon as I crossed the finish line, music and sound splay.
 
In one of the goodwood missions the car took off before the countdown was over. Haven't been able to recreate it no matter how much I try though. Not sure if it has happened to anyone else.
 
Every time I buy a car (karts for now) with the possibility to put the race number on it, the race number resets and the spot becomes blank

I didn't make some top speed tests, so can't argue, however it seems that other cars are more or less OK. I mean ~5-10 km/h difference is acceptable, due to perfect conditions, no wind, etc.

However this SL55 should do about 300-310 IRL instead of 360 and hitting rev limiter. To achieve that you need twice as much HP in real life.

It did. And you had control over your car when the camera angles were changing at 3, 2,1 , right? ;)

No, there isn't!!!
If you start with sun, you have sun until end, if you start with rain you have rain until the end through you put the "Weather changeability" slider to 60.

I did an online 1 hour race at Bathurst today, started in early morning sunshine which slowly progressed, it then got cloudy and started raining around lap 12 and got steadily worse until the end of the race.

I have to investigate because from the last mini patch I have no more weather changeability online.

Haven't read the thread but did not see this in the Op so forgive me if it has been mentioned but there seems to be an issue with setting the gears on the custom trans. Painfully slow to switch the individual gears like it is doing some calculations and updating display as soon as you click it. This needs to be fixed

That happened to me last night I was driving and It was it on 2
