The "Car Wash"

Can you tell any difference in the appearance of the car when you send it through the car wash?

Yes it become all nice and shiny and they say it reduces drag.  Maybe it's not so evident during a race but right after the car wash it looks good.

Yup, I was think ing the same thing as you were. But here's how I tested it. I raced like 15 races before a car wash. Then when I was about to wash it , I let the car make one full revolution. I looked at every part of the car checking for shininess and cleaniness. After I washed it it was super shiny.

It's much better. In GT2, I can't even notice the difference before or after.

I raced the wet tracks with a black skyline.I could really tell a difference.

I really noticed a difference on the SVT Cobra. I used to drive it all the time before I realized how damn near everything handled better than it did. But if you neglect to wash it for a couple races, and then go wash it, the difference is astounding...

After I washed my skyline it looked perfect.
