Of course didn't take too much changes on gears this one , so i might try it since braking is important only at first turn
I may have ended up doing the last shift down with the braking fest of Suzuka turn one late, just a little before going back on throttle. I did that with the M3, at least. I'm already asking more of the tyres that they can deliver, as I showed here. Which happens because I'm not very accurate. I have an urge to load the game and replay to see the four indicators and how they light up, but that makes more sense in the morning.

¯EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT¯

51./NIRL
29 minutes of warm up :P , but after that had three 'sub 64 laps' with the Brera.

@nostradavor2
RIGGED
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

Good racing guys 👍
Yea I got Rigged trophy :dunce: Bryce I went for Replay one too with M3 and Civic
I also hope you guys enjoyed this race where it's hard to beat AI and thanks for pushing Alfa's too 👍 All in 03s with Thematic and smoothbore12 wanting to get rid of 156 in P1 :D

It's time to kick off the next round

@RMan72 has picked a special car for us to race in Spain.

CLASS 24 is open to all students.

It's the final MISSION and your last chance to get the MISSION ACCOMPLISHED trophy, @Thematic since your dominating div 2 I'm putting you in div 1.

The boogieman has come to play, setting us a horror of a challenge... again.

The first race of the GT3 CUP in here, I would love to see the newer members enter.

Two hundred and eighty nine!

I began with Inv 1 & Inv 2.

52./Inv. 1, Bl00dy Kids Always Forget Something

[7:01.7] incorrect & ineligible
inv1_bkafs_result.jpg

52./Inv. 2
No replay but I produced two images (so yes, two pauses).
inv2_gt3_lap3.jpg inv2_gt3_lap4.jpg
[8:46.293]
inv2_gt3_result.jpg

After this I did what ended up being the most serious effort for today.

52./No Tune
[1:00.556] incorrect & ineligible

I noticed that I "lost" a sixth of a second in the first sector and a tenth still in 3rd. I only remember the odometer was 160 and change before I began, but I kept hitting restart because of crashes.

Circuito de Madrid - Mini.jpg

Madrid Mini is a fairly straightforward track. Only five corners, and being basically a triangle with mostly short to medium straights and a hairpin on each end, it's definitely that 'easy to learn, hard to master' kind of track.

Being the reverse version which I have never driven on this game, I needed some practice laps to get a good feel for the track. About 20 laps later, I could actually start my real, all-out run.

Turn 1: One of the two most important corners of the lap is the very first. You want to brake just before the 50 meter board, then get as smooth of a line as possible in second gear. Getting a good exit out of turn 1 can sometimes make or break your lap.

Turns 2 and 3: This is where most people are going to crash a lot. You want to get through this section in third gear while scrubbing off the least amount of speed possible that doesn't make you smash into the outside wall. Being a blind corner, it's hard to judge your braking point here. I lost count of how many times I crashed here.

Turn 5: After the easy flat-out left kink of turn 4, turn 5 is a tough, blind, 180-degree hairpin. You want to get through this on low second gear, but if you brake too late you might need first gear to get the nose in. A bad exit here will not only ruin your lap, but compromise the next one too, so this is arguably the most important part of the run.

After another 8 laps or so, I managed to get a time of 1:00.381. I feel like sub-1 minute is definitely possible, but I'm not sure if I can get there.

(Yes, I know there are two times in the image. The 1:01.9 was during the practice run I did)

I might do the GT3 Cup as well, but I haven't decided yet.

Id rather shoot myself than do that event

Good  you gonna save me ,from the trouble to shoot you
But is useless anyway since a fairy won't die
You can play everything else except what's appropriate  not to mention that you watching hours at your tv Romanian handball :D
Anyway i still love you as you are and since i got no gun there's no reason to worry .
@CozmicDragon always with a " rich " narration about his runs and we all like that .
Good work guys ,i didn't try anything yet since i was up to choose next no tune car and design an event .
Have a good night guys see you tomorrow .

Brilliant, just brilliant. Bravo, bravo.
I love reading your write ups.

Please enter the GT3 CUP, the more entrants we get the better the championship will be.

Promise, last time I'm mentioning this but peed blood for nothing :censored:Finished 5th out of 145 players :boggled:
Finally found out how to take a win but no more time to play :nervous: Well, since this players are well known "aliens" from the Grid and I just got the game is not that bad but I'll now have to play this stupid game until I beat them in some other event :banghead:
IMG_20200203_221228~2.jpg

I'll do some races for the hub on Saturday

I imagine you are doing sub 15 s T1s all day, braking that late (and finding it working). I had 15.15 and up, though with ABS 0.

I did about 20 minutes session at no tune yesterday and i start at 1.03 !!!!
After a while i realise that was on CS tyres :banghead:
I decided to go without SRF this run just to get use to it cause of cross battles .
After some 1.01 plus finally i get a 1.08 and work needed to catch @Thematic and @CozmicDragon .
With SRF on for some laps at the end ,i shoot a dead 1.00.04 which means that a 59 is possible using this aid.
I don't know what @CozmicDragon driving aids use but for the Saint am sure that is run without them since he didn't use even ABS .
Can i find ,half a second ? Time will tell.

@Thematic ,what tyres did you use on the Audi at GT3 race ?
I think you wasn't on RH as supposed to be .

Quite strange behaviour that Audi plus enough twitcy for an 4wheel drive car.
Even TC at one can't " save " the situation and understeer follows .

Edit ... Edit .... But not end it

Find a bit of peace ( alone etc.) Decide to make some runs for the provisional pole at no tune.
Just made a couple small stinds to warm up and then i start continuously laps.
At first one wrote a 1.397 till i reach the 10th lap which proved to be the lucky one .
IMG_20200205_152051.jpg

A small vid will follow .
Definitely there's room for improvement if everything fit together but am quite happy even for that small gain .
Am waiting the response from the other guys since i took the bite from their mouth .
In all that runs only one was below 15 sec. barrier at first sector but i skrew up turn 3 and the bird flies.
From what i notice ,a bit earlier braking help more to stabilise the car for the upcoming turn than be late all the way .

he was on SS..you can see in his pics.. I know Bryce told him to be div1 but am not sure if he thought about missions only or overall..

btw I saw SL65 AMG Black Series in Zagreb, I don't like Mercedes cars very much but this one is proper monster. @skeagracing Have you ever got to drive that one?

edit.. do we all do no tune srflesly? i couldn't spell it?

edit2.. Bryce mate not that its very important but I was at LiGHTS CAMERA ACTION 8/10 before last 2 vids :P
And I have 6 No tune wins :P

edit3.. @smoothbore12 Audi is by far worst car from 4 in the pool at least IMO.. Thanks for however else voted for BmW but we ended up 1 vote down :(

Judging from his time i i figure that was on SS.
Bryce just put him in div1 only at the missions cause always is far enough from us :embarrassed:

I figure it out from his time that something was wrong.
Bryce put him only at missions at dv1 since he always far ahead from us.

As for no tune SRfsly  is not in the rules but i decided to do it and have a " fight" with @Thematic in his own territory ,plus needed to help my self for the crossover since we run also SRFless .

Never drove this Audi but its it least disappointing ,they are FR cars with far more better handling.

I hate Audi anyways but there's something wrong with this ones in GT6 specially.. I remember when I tried it long time ago..
Regarding Srfsly I'm just asking, maybe I'll have some time today to play but don't gave enough do to with and without.. Ill do with no aids since Thematic always does it and also you did it now 👍 We all know my opionion on SRF anyeays :yuck::D

@skeagracing I did only race for school but haven't recorded it yet.. 1st lap looks stupid on replay cam, when I'll have time I'll record it but I think it'd be better in chase cam.. at least 1st lap..
Throttle was applying again also :banghead: And it happens only in this game for some reason.. I think it has smallest "dead zone" for steering and padles inputs.. 🤬
