I really enjoyed driving the Zonda, Garaiya & Ford GT '05 car. They were fun & obedient. The other 3 (Spirra, 512 BB & Italia) were troublesome. The worst car as per handling was Spirra but 512 BB was as bad.

Ferrari 330 P4 '67 Versus TS030 Hybrid '12 This is from a few years ago. Bottom line the TS030 is not the fastest race car in GT6.

We can always switch off the Mclaren F1 I've got a next car that's just as fast, faster in the event cuz I can run RS tires on it, only thing is its a VGT car Lexus VGT, no interior and very much not a real car. IDC I love the damn thing its so damn fast and I've used it back when I raced online to crop a few unsuspecting LMP cars in pp restricted races.

Gapped the BMW Mclaren F1 by just over a minute hitting a few 1:49.XXX laps running RS tires. Im running with zero TCS and mashing the throttle hard so I really think this car is good for this. I can run 6 laps on RS tires pushing hard the whole race.

Some sliding action with the Yellow Bird just love this car. Wish they updated it to a Detailed model. This one be good for a No Tune event. Ill probably just slide the whole time

I want the Concept Jag from the 60's

Do you know if its comparable to the GT40 MkIV or Ferarri 330 P4? I eventually want all 3 cars but the Jag has me most curious. I feel its lacking some aero that if ever raced would of been developed but since Jag Brass had no Brass at the time the car was never realized. Its just so beautiful

PS: what event is that with the TSO30?

The last week I was fighting pneumonia, no jokes that will make you almost welcome death. I did a little GT6 here n there but mostly layed in bed praying for a quick death.

Its weird I don't really feel like Im "drifting" per-se with the YB rather just getting the tail out with an 80's 911 turbo, same with the F40, I slide that car like its nothing but doesn't feel like "Drifting" I dunno Im weird

I get the same sometimes, I do a run like that and I think wow I'm really starting to get the hang of holding a slide. So I go and try a drift race and all I do is this

It appears to be the vote is going to go in favour of 1 car, so once the poll ends I'll put up a new poll asking:
WHO PICKS THE CAR?

Since that poll will not be done before the next round starts the winner of DIV 1 in the current round will choose the car, so @fordlaser, @paddycars1, @lfm58 and @RMan72 you guys are in contention to win so have a think about what car you guys would pick and let me know, even before the round end.


Also guys the VIP TSUKUBA CHALLENGE will be an event every time we go to polyphony digital cup race 1, there is going to be an event next round called THE GREAT ESCAPE and the round after that an event called KING OF THE MOUNTAIN, both of these events will continually run every time we go to polyphony digital cup race 2 and 3 as well.

A general question to those in charge / with experience in parts.

- Are events or TTs help on most commonly driven tracks such as Tsukuba, Grand Valley, Apricot Hill, Suzuka etc.?
- Are there no events in Snow or Dirt?
- There are loads of tracks in GT6. Are they also utilized for the events or TTs?

Just asking as GT6 is so vast with so many tracks & cars. The combination of these is endless to explore.

There are events on most of the tracks, some dirt but not much on snow, I try to mix it up with what tracks we use.
The NO-TUNE challenge users the same 3 tracks in polyphony digital cup races so all the other events are used on other tracks.
With the BATTLES i pick the tracks and try not to pick a track twice.

Cool. I was just asking as I thought there are so many tracks that we can use. Fr example, I'm a big fan of the Circuito de la Sierra track which is as long as the Nurburgring track. Even the Ascari, Matterhorn, Eiger Nordwand, Cape Ring etc. are fun to drive on.

That is the exact reason why I started the USERS CHOICE, it gives you guys a chance to design an event using cars, tracks and rules you guys like using.

1 of the invitationals we be USERS CHOICE and the 2nd event will be invite only based on previous races and will mainly focus on NO-TUNE style races, but I will try to throw in some races on other tracks if I can.

Bryce ,left the kids alone and dont talk about focus to bring the alfa under 9.00 minutes.

1. Corners leading to the longest straight. If there are several corners before the longest straightaway the corners before the last corner are throwaway corners and are not important only the last one before the straightaway is important.

2. The fastest corners on the track.

3. Any corner after the end of the longest straightaway or straightaways if there are more than one.

4. Connected corners are very important because if you mess up any of them you will not be set up for the next one’s and your rhythm will be interrupted.

5. Slow corners such as 180* hairpin.

6.Also when testing corners go slow to go fast so you can get your rhythm down for the track that you are testing at and you will be three or four corners ahead of everybody else!!

He told me his secret is to soak your hands in CRC for 5 minutes before you race as this gets rid of the rust and frees up the fingers
