I feel your dismay. If, instead of 4 events with decent pay, we had a proper career endgame with a few hundred events for IB, IA and S licence, it wouldn't feel like a grind at all. I wouldn't even mind doing something like GT4's '1000 Miles!' series to win a 13,000,000Cr Merc, I'd definitely prefer it to nearly a thousand miles of 30 minute Les Manses.
This is one of the silliest issues in the game now. Just 4 races with a decent payout make earning credits feel like a grind. PD could easily fix this by providing decent rewards for all events.
Take aim at foot, shoot.

Added the 3 update cars. I'm not adding the Mangusta dupe.

If anyone has any LCD update prices from engine/chassis costs then please post them, otherwise I'll continue updating them as they appear.
I think @Eggstor mentioned something about the 911 GT1 being 9 Mil now ?

The Ferrari 330 P4 is now 9 mill in the LCD but it’s engine replace cost is increased from 4,5 mill to 4,75 mill. So next time around the 330 P4 will be 9,5 mill instead.

I have some of those. I'm still missing 12 cars that can have new engine/chassis costs from my collection and the new engine swap (from the Audi Sport quattro), and there's 13 cars for which other means need to be used to get the prices early. Once I get the missing 12 (hopefully today), I'll do a full-on post like I did after the 1.15 update.

The changes I found so far:
  • 1953 Aston Martin DB3S - 6,000,000 Cr. (+1,000,000 Cr. from the post-1.15 price)
  • 1964 Aston Martin DB5 - 950,000 Cr. (+9,000 Cr.)
  • 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 - 114,000 Cr. (-7,000 Cr.)
  • 1954 Ferrari Mondial Pinin Farina Coupe - 3,500,000 Cr. (-500,000 Cr.)
  • 1963 Ford Ford Roadster (yes, Ford is listed in both the make and model in-game) - 400,000 Cr. (-50,000 Cr.)
  • 1966 Ford GT40 Mk1 - 6,700,000 Cr (+450,000 Cr. - will be in effect on its next appearance in Hagerty's as it was already there before 1.20 hit)
  • 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 - 269,000 Cr. (-54,000 Cr.)
  • 1991 Mazda 787B - 2,200,000 Cr. (+200,000 Cr., based on the "Recommended Retail Price" on its engine in the Tuning Parts section of the garage)
  • 1954 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Coupe - 1,700,000 Cr. (+300,000 Cr - will be in effect on its next appearance in Hagerty's as it was already there before 1.20 hit)
  • 1970 Nisan Skyline Hard Top 2000GT-R (KPGC10) - 170,000 Cr. (+30,000 Cr. - will be in effect on its next appearance in Hagerty's as it was already there before 1.20 hit)
  • 1997 Porsche 911 GT1 Strassenversion - 9,000,000 Cr. (+5,900,000 Cr. - and yes, I triple-checked the new engine/body prices)
The cars I don't have in my collection, so I don't know the new engine/body prices, and the engine I don't have:
  • 1938 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Touring Berlinetta
  • 1961 Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta passo corto

It would be nice that we can allow us to sell our cars in those prices!!! Stock market at the best!!!!

I tried to ignore the FOMO design of the legendary car shop and still thought about grinding. But that kind of **** just makes me laugh and not even try any more. They really made it! Collecting cars is not fun anymore! I give up on that kind of play.

Do they really not see, how much of an downturn there desicions are?

Everything is linked to gas prices. It's very realistic - inflation pushes prices up but wages stay stagnant.
The real life simulator.
Classic cars, not so much.

I don't know how they're coming up with these huge value changes. No Strassenversion has been sold since the game launched, so how have they decided it now has a value 3x? One was listed for $12M in 2021 but it didn't sell.

They probably think it would have sold at $9M.

In any case, I put up a post charting the changes, and there are some updates from what I posted here earlier.

I have put my Skoda up for sale for 2 million. See if there are any takers :dopey:

I'm pretty sure they're just making it up depending on how many people buy the cars in game.

Are they seriously saying that a 1954 Ferrari is worth 500k less than it was a few months ago?
(I couldn't see anything about that particular model being up for sale anytime recently)

Plus, I don't remember seeing the down arrow for the next price when I bought it a few weeks ago.

Added the known LCD car changes, thanks to everyone who has provided them.

476 Million. Between the future update cars and further increases to Hagerty in November I think it's pretty much guaranteed we'll pass the half a billion credits mark by the end of the year.

Just finished racing for an hour. I almost took my life when I realized I had only earned 560,000 credits, and that’s mostly clean race bonuses too, except every so often some dumbass AI drives right into the side of me down a straight!

But in all seriousness, what is the absolute easiest, highest earning, no more than an hour of my time race to do to earn some credits?

I’m sick of playing this game because I feel like I have to, to earn cars, to get my moneys worth. I never thought playing a game would feel like a god damn chore. I really wish multiplayer lobbies would pay the equivalent of single player events. Just make earnings time based. Logged on, raced for one hour = X amount of dollars. Preferably 1,000,000 for an hour. That still seems insane when I think, ok I have to play for 9 hrs before I can buy the P4 Ferrari. FFS.

Thanks but at this point I think I just want an (up up down down left right left right A B A B start) code. Voila all cars unlocked. Or Polyphony to just dump 100,000,000 credits into my account with an apology letter.

“Sorry we made this game such a grind when really all the fun is actually online racing with friends and not alone racing in your gotch desperately trying to earn credits the fastest way possible to be able to buy and drive the cars you thought you were going to be able to drive when you bought the game from us” Sincerely Kaz

Data for the final 12 cars are in, and the August update of Hagerty's increased the cost of the 66 cars by a net 16,578,000 Cr. The full details are here.

Lemans which is a little over 30 minutes depending if you got the lead by a big margin you wont have to do a 7th lap and can just camp by the finish line for a minute or two and win... but if you dont have a big lead then you might have to do 7 laps so its a little over 30-32 minutes...but you get 825k per race and its pretty much easy... just use the red bull junior and swap to wet tires after the 2nd lap and if it clears up pit a second time to swap tires to hard tires and win...but a lot of the times you swap to wet tires after the second lap and cruise to the win so that means you pit just once...

I will provide when I have it finished. Only 48 cars to go, maybe in the weekend I'll have time to finish it, as most of the cars left are either VGTs or Race Cars which don't have many upgrade parts to list.
Hi any news of this file?

Thank you

I hate it how most of the VGTs are 1 mil. I'm down to 126 cars, 4 of them are the 20 mil cars. This is a looong way to complete.

I do the 1 hour race at Spa which pays out 1 million. It's very easy to do a clean race and pocket 1.5 million.

You need a good Group 2 car - I use a SC 430. You need racing medium and intermediate tyres. The weather is slightly more predictable than the Le mans race, in that the rain comes about lap 6,7 or 8. So use the racing medium tyres first to get a good start and with a bit of luck will take you to lap 8. When you see the rain coming and it's nearly on top of you, pit in and switch to the intermediates.

Often your rivals will pit in before this - when the weather is fine and will have just replaced the racing tyres they normally use. This will put them at a huge disadvantage when the rain starts (as it does in 9 out of 10 cases). The intermediate tyres you have will do you for the rest of the race, usually. Even if it clears up it is better to keep going rather than to waste time pitting in. They wear out quite slowly, but sometimes I may do another stop late in the race depending on how worn they are. But by that time I have a lead of over 1 or even two minutes so have got plenty of time - and go back to racing tyres and scorch the remaining lap(s).
