Like @WanganDream said Summits only. Unfortunately.... But than a lot Platinum are also missing. I was looking at Akor's Summit videos and saw the winter tire rooftop and Raptor underglow vanity but can't see those in the shop. That was the American month. We have the LBWK underglow from the Japanese month but missing a nitro glow and tire smoke from the same month. Maybe they will add those later? I'm not sure...

Meanwhile don't forget the Twich drops. 😄

Do I need a Twitch account or something to get that?

Apparently I had a dormant twitch account, so didn't need to create a new one.

So, what's next? Is there a stream or something I need to "watch" to get prices?
Good, now start your the Crew journey here After go and watch any the Crew stream that has [DROPS] in the title. Check your inventory. 👍

Got the prices. Left my phone on the charger while streaming on 166p feed and lowest possible screen brightness while doing other things.

Had to switch streams at some point but managed in the end.

I already hate this weeks summit lol, The best event in this accursed summit is the goddamn slalom skill, at least the road IVT ogmios that finally came out more than makes up for this week to me, really nice car to drive

Wow, you're not wrong, if this was my first ever summit in any Crew game I'd be uninstalling. The two time trials are okay, but even one of those is a pretty dull course. The smash the targets and takedown events are just completely stupid, basically everyone can get virtually max summit points if they can be bothered to learn how to optimise/exploit them.

Yeh this weeks summit isn't my cuppa tea either it could only be worse if you had to drift into the enemy hehe i also find it hard to see the car I'm chasing the silly coppers look the same and only get in my way :dunce: although it does have the most amount of replay value but that seems forced as it's so random :banghead:

Is it worth grabbing the game at the moment but not getting the season pass? Just playing the base content.

Options -> Difficulty -> AI Chase Cops -> Off

IMO the game is fine without either season pass. I bought the season 2 pass as I bought the base game very cheaply and felt like donating them some money as I like the game a lot, but I don't think I've used any of the paid content yet. Both passes help a little with in-game credits, as you get the season pass cars for free, and sometimes you need them for activities. What helps a heck of a lot more is owning TC2 and buying cars in that instead of in TCM, as it's easier to get credits in TC2, and the cars transfer across. There are also quite a lot of cars in TCM that you can only get via TC2.

Is it just me or are the motocross physics utter ********?

And bike physics in general?

Also the rubberband on some events is mindbogglinly obvious: going up Mount Pele in a monster Mustang, fifth gear redlining with a bit of nitro and a freakin Silverado passes me like I'm standing still. And he wasn't even on my slipstream.

I actually love bikes in Motorfest, motocross too. And I prefer it to TC2. What are your issues? Just curious.
As for monster trucks. The Mustang is garbo in Motorfest while the Silverado is a meta.
And yes there's definitely some rubberbanding but is far better than other arcades. Imo.

Thanks for the tip about the Silverado.

My main gripe is that it doesn't matter how fast or slow I go to corners and if I'm leaning forwards, backwards or not leaning at all, the bike just keeps on understeering.

And if I take even a passing glance to the handbrake button, I spin and lose all momentum.

Don't know if pro settings could fix it or not but seems like the ai drivers turn and grip much better then me, no matter what I do.

Got so tired of that, that the future mx events will be done in the lowest difficulty setting so I can just quickly move on to something better.

Maybe I'm just too spoiled by GTAV's physics.

Did you adjust the bikes setups much ? i think you need max soft front max firm rear but even then they don't like hairpins

I'm not a pro and I'm not sure if I should give others advice about driving. My experience is I have to drive MTX bikes differently than road bikes. I tend to slow down much more before curves (almost to full stop before harpins) and I accelerate by tapping the gas... It's hard to explain, uff. I love MTX because you can go anywhere and it's fun going anywhere.

Little advice for the Summit escape. YouTubers are showing a very difficult route jumping over a flood canal, but if you follow the same canal downhill into the sea you can still make 150k. It's so much easier than that alien route.

Yeah, I discovered that route by accident for myself and got to about 142k. Good enough for me, since I have just above 1.4 Million points.

I already had 153k from the alien route, but the RNG is crazy, it took me a huge number of attempts to randomly get a good run in terms of traffic and not hitting an unbreakable tree. So I gave your route a try, I assume you mean start in the spawn direction, take the most obvious route along the drain, then switch to a powerboat at the sea? I only got 144k, but maybe you have a nitro chemist set for powerboat? I'm at 1429k total, so I probably don't need any more points, it's just interesting to see the different options.

Edit: These 3 part half sets are great, just managed to make a 3 part points set for powerboat which got me enough extra points on the slalom to hit 1432k. A 3 part nitro set for dragster gave me quite a lot more points for the speed trap too.

Theres a bug on the Off-roading Addict Prestige list.

The last entry shows 5 out of 7 races which is impossible and prevents you from getting the tickets from it.

Already sent the pic to Ubisoft aswell.

It's not a bug. More like a design mistake or something. If you go to that particular race menu you will see Street 1 and 2 icons as well.

Edit:
Yes @breeminator I have nitro for both. Got 149k so I assume others can do the same if not better. I'm not that good.

I'll do some powerboat parts grinding, as that will be helpful for the slalom as well, and see what I can do when I have full sets.

I think it's a great aspect of the Crew games that you can get a long way with some hard work and application of intelligence, even if your skill isn't alien level.

Edit: Okay.... some time later, I now have full parts sets for powerboat. I've done 153k for the escape using the drain to the sea and powerboat switch method. I found the best way to do it was to approach the start at high speed and steer right to immediately go into the drain through the trees, then it's all about reaching a high speed early on, while letting the nitro refill for the start of the boat section. An option that seems to definitely not be bad is to wait for the car to hit 300kph, then use the full nitro tank (my 153k was with the Nevera). It will refill a decent amount by the time you get to the boat section. You need the water to be choppy, as the air nitro and ventilated are the only way to reach a high speed in the boat. If the water is smooth all the way, give up and do the slalom instead, as that is best done with smooth water. With smooth water I was down around 143k for the escape.

Ah that's why i suck  we need to go back to the 80's way of doing thing's when you would have to buy and read a magazine for tips lol the fun you would have making a map to send in then wait a month 3 weeks after the summits over you would get a tip :dopey:

Anyone else like the rival races a lot?

I think it's probably the best thing that happened to TCM since release.
Sometimes it's a bit easy (even on level 5), when the rival is getting caught in traffic. I urge everyone who is looking for a challenge to switch to cockpit view for rival races. It's more exciting, especially with traffic and when you don't know the route, so you really are busy watching the road, the traffic, the route and the rival. Sometimes you can even bait the rival into a crash with incoming traffic. Once I had the rival getting passed me after I had a slight crash and I thought 'This is it'. But then the rival was a bit optimistic in a fast turn and got carried out into the green and I was able to get back into the lead just a few corners before the finish line.

The only time where rival racing can get really hard, is during bad weather and fog when the AI obviously doesn't depend on visual input.

I'm almost done with the Made In Japan Custom Mode, just have Monster Truck left. Once that's finished, I'll work on the Rivals.
