I suspect most people play with a controller. I think Akor used a wheel for TC2 but uses a controller for TCM, and I've had the impression that many people who have a wheel choose to use a controller for TCM. Are you saying the update has made the game much better with a wheel? If so, it might take a bit of time for controller users who own a wheel to give their wheel another try with the game.
Yep from the looks of it it definitely must be like that.
I play it since release and besides one single try with Pad, I only play it with my Fanatec / PlaySeat Trophy Setup.
And since Day1 I fell in love with the game.
Especially the driving aspect / Wheel Feel behavior immediately got me hooked.
So after a few days of tweaking and testing, refining and finally having found my most to the real thing Wheel feel, I drove countless hours across Maui Hawaii every single day.
Never did a single summit nor do or did I care about rankings.
It's the driving itself.
Only that.
And it's perfect.
My Son did the grinding races for me every day an hour so I currently have around 75 ish cars to pick.
Not a single car has been tuned the slightest with any sorts of parts.
I just tweak the Suspension as well as tire and Aerodynamics and the brakes and simply enjoy every cars authenticity in terms of driving experience and of course each cars absolutely spot on captured sounds.
This is something truly special.
Motorfest has in my opinion the best sounding Cars I ever came across since I started playing Racing games.
Every absolutely every car I have so far drives and feels but as well sounds absolutely unique.
I can immediately hear if it's an 4 6 8 10 or 12 cylinder.
Natural aspirated or Turbo... And don't get me started on the big brute compressors.
Love it I love this game I love to drive cars.
No HUD at all, ALWAYS and ONLY Cockpit View and... Well what else absolutely no single driving aid at all.
I set my cars to match it's real world factory braking/stopping performance as well I balance the tire/suspension and the aerodynamic FFB until it all blends together in a perfectly refined symbiosis... 😅🫣
What Ivory Tower has produced here is beyond a simple and chaotic arcade grind racer... It's the most enjoyable open world driving simulation and it's absolutely astonishing that nowhere... U hear me right, nowhere do I read or find similar minded driving enthusiasts sharing and appreciating the game for what it actually is or let me put it this way, can be.
With the right settings and the mindset to treat it as the real thing...
