Some stupid rock band who think they are funny looking and sounding like the 70's. I really don't like them and their music.

The only problem I got with them is that the singer needs to fix his teeth. I mean, come on, teeth pointing in every direction is not looking good.

Eddie Van Halen is one of the greatest guitarists of all time, plays keyboard for Van Halen, and to top it off helps provide Van Halen's excellent harmonies. The Hawkins brothers have nothing when compared to these brilliant musicians.

van halens, running with the devil track is pretty good i have to say, starts off good especially that track.

did i say anything offensive to anyone directly at anyone ever? mind u, i have encountered so many ppl of this type, im just tired of it.
sorry girls didn't kno u guys were so touchy on the subject! i love music, don't think for one second im insulting Van Halen, to me that is rock god! well atleast one of them lol
i was aiming at the darkness, notin but a bunch o guys wantin media attention for sissy hair cuts n sissy music they are!

I feel sorry for The Darkness after seeing all of this negativity, so I've decided to direct some of the negativity away from people who at least play their own instruments.

You want artists who want media attention for sissy haircuts and sissy music? Look no further than Justin Timberlake.

Their music is great. Their locals are catchy yet meaningful. They are also one of the most incredibly talented bands to burst on the US.

However, i sure like the fact that i only know about 3 other people that like them.

I hate it when people can't see past a band's image. What would have happened if everyone did that for the Ramones? For Jimmy Hendrix?

Seeing as how I don't really listen to vocals/lyrics, I think the Darkness were a breath of fresh air onto the music scene. What with everyone moaning about their girlfriends and death, it's great to have this kind of music again.

I'm on the "hates" side.

Iron Maiden aren't reallt good to me at all, but I find them funny because they're a typical 80s band. Bands that imitate Iron Maiden and bands like them, in the present day, aren't funny. It's just sad. It's also horrible.

Seeing as though this is the only 'The Darkness' thread I found, I thought this piece of news was worth jump starting this thread after 10 years.

They have a new album coming out in June. "Last Of Our Kind".
