So much car porn, I actually stopped just so I could identify as many as I could, then didn't give a rats ass about the rest of the episode.

The joys of being the leader of a banana republic.

I'm not sure if this counts, but I saw this on the news last week.

Honda NSX, ford mustang, Honda s2000 and what looks like a ford gt40 in the background in fast and furious 4

Saw this while watching the news last night. :D

Monte Carlo 78? Remember that on midnight Club!
Lincoln Town Car. ;) Unsure of the year because from the front the '81-'89 Town Cars looked pretty identical if you can't get a close look.

Where? That's a Lincoln boy, and don't your forget it! Is that southern enough of me? :sly:

Continental or Versilles (sp?) probably

Alright, deep south guys, put away your shotguns, it is similar to this to me :p

I don't think Fast and Furious counts, mainly because..... well, it's Fast and Furious. That's kinda expected.
It counts, just as long as it's in the background and not something the main character drives.

I guess, but it's not as special.
It's not that special with it being a car focused movie. The much more interesting ones are the ones picked out of movies not quite focused on cars. ;)

Rather painfully decided...out of boredom, to watch the Need For Speed film. And as everyone had said, it was awful. But I couldn't help but notice...

A 2nd generation Lexus GS! (I know, it's just another sedan. But of course who doesn't get distracted by a car they own in the background)

@Ishikawa M would love this as well. ;)

Watched Kill Bill today.

Bill drove a 1969 De Tomaso Mangusta in Vol. 2:

He wanted to drive the Cadillac Cien apparently but GM wanted to charge too much for Tarantino to hire it, so QT chose the Mangusta instead.

Going further back (I just read this thread for the first time) if I remember correctly the many AMCs in the Man with the Golden Gun were a pretty blatant case of product placement, something which was always rife in Bond movies. I liked that Hornet though :)

Even though Falling Down has been mentioned once for the CR-X, there are a few interesting cars that caught my eye. I guess that's one of the perks of filming in LA.

Also spotted this on Top Gear. Taken from the convertible people carrier challenge.

Sweet 500 and Morris Oxford Estate soon after the start of this:

I remember catching those when I watched that episode for the first time.

To be fair, given the amount of time they're out on the road, its almost an inevitability the TG team will come across some nice cars parked up or among traffic. A few that I seem to recall are a Ferrari 348 parked up at the hotel they stayed at in the cheap Alfa Romeo challenge, and a (then-new) hawk-eye STI parked outside the BBC office on the Peel P50 segment.

I remember seeing that; Series 8, Episode 1. It was also the 1st episode of Top Gear that had aired in the US.

Going through Breaking Bad. Completely forgot about this GS in this scene... Probably distracted by how awful the wheels were.

Is anyone else not getting photos from IMCDB popping up? :grumpy:

Lincoln Blackwood on the news.

This thread should just be named "Interesting Vehicles You Saw in TV/movies (and probably YouTube)".

The Alfa 156 THAT IS BEING CURSHED BY THE MARAUDER

Some seasons later, Richard says that Alfa Romeo is the lord, despite HAVING CRUSHED ONE....
