no, i used the car to cover all the smoke. the smoke is behind the car. this is a drift thread, why would i take a pic of a parked car?

You've put the shutter speed on its highest so it looks like the car is standing still, look at the wheels for example. :sly:

Exactly....

The shutter speed you chose for this shot is so fast (high number, probably 1/500th) that you've frozen the moment in time, effectively eliminating all signs of speed and motion. See how you can see the tread pattern on the tires? There's no motion in the pebbles on the ground.. and if you look close, you can even see the spokes in the rear wheel. To improve the shot, select a slower shutter speed, you could even go as low as 1/60th and make sure you select Panning mode 3 for this type of shot. Panning mode 3 moves the camera with the car, as if were attached using a rig.. so the car will be crystal clear and you'll see all of that speed and motion...

just like I did on this shot, in real life...
