About 10 hours for (1) 20 million credit car. I say "🤬 that".

I will play from time to time, but come on. Is there any other game that requires you to put in ungodly game hours to get the top prizes. Especially more or less repeating the same level an infinite amount of times.

On the other other hand, I would not have a problem paying say $50 or so a year to have instance access to all new added vehicles. I however will never pay $2 etc per vehicle.

Even with "I think" better ways to get credits in GT6 - I believe that I only purchased one of the $20 million cars after a month or more of "B" spec bob doing events with the 5 time daily multiplier.

Maybe one of these days some event/car combination will get closer to 4 or 5 million per hour. Along will selling the damn gift cars.

Daily sport races are still crap and only (3) to choose from.

Sorry sometimes got to vent. Been with GT series and PlayStation since the original.

Well If you want something like cars, well you have to grind and that what you have to do sunshine. You can not blame the game just because you play from time to time, and the credits payouts are not good for your liking but PD has got the credit system spot on for each event in this game :).

So if you grind for credits you will get the car that you want, and if you don't like to grind for credits well that is your problem and not the game fault.

Grinding is definetly not for the greater good of the GT fan base or new players and for sure casual players.

I would 100 times more want to spend my time enjoying each and every car and the track/car combinations.

There is a lot of good with GT sport, unfortunitely the bad tends to out way the good. Enjoyment of the game is severely reduced with the knowledge that to get the golden cars....rediculas amounts of wasted time must be spent.

I really think they could change things to even the playing field. Even simple things would help. Log in bonus, maybe higher payouts one weekend a month. Holoday weekends etc. I would be okay just being able to rent the cars for say 30 to 60 days for 1/10th of the price. Meaning that they would be rentals and you could not paint them.

It is a game after all not life.

In 2020 will have to consider PC side and leaving GT behind.

I have three 20m credit cars, two 330P’s and an XJ13. Won them all on the daily mileage roulette in the space of a month or two. A shame we can’t sell duplicates but I still wouldn’t buy a 20m car. Play the game normally, you’ll have plenty enough credits to buy every other car in the game.

It is the game's/developer's fault or do you think they want us to grind one or two events for tens of hours? Is this what makes a developer happy? I doubt it.
I'd rather see a skill-based system to unlock these cars. Maybe two methods: One via grinding and another one for a special task like winning 10 daily races, so you get a token to unlock one of these 20 Mio. Credits cars.

So if you grind for credits you will get the car that you want, and if you don't like to grind for credits well that

You know, I wonder..

With the amount of time you spend on the internet trying to glorify excessive amounts of grinding as if it's the second coming of whatever deity you may or may not believe in - and assuming you live a normal, human life on the side - how do you find the time to grind *hard enough for you to consider it a "feature"* in the first place?

Like I've said before, not even RPG's make you grind THIS MUCH. Doesn't Kaz realize the only way people are buying the 20 million credit cars are by grinding thousands of laps of the same boring track?
Have you played any grinding games? GT’s grinding is nothing compared to other games.

On another note, that X14 event is definitely the fastest way for money now, but the AI make it unpredictable with how slow they corner. If you can compensate for that, then it’s definitely fast.

Doing the La Sarthe X2014 Race currently in less than 9 minutes.
Currently the fastest way, gets boring pretty fast however. So get yourself a podcast/playlist that you like.
Anything is better than Blue Moon. At least if they added Like The Wind with SSRX I could relax on the straights and do things on my phone. On BMB I have to stay alert at any moment

I have almost 300 days of logging in and probably 200 daily workouts and I have NEVER, like NEVER got a classic car on the roulette. When it seems that you're finally winning something good it skips one place and it picks the uglyass Clio next to it.
I am usually unlucky at everything but never in this way. Eventually I lost it and grinded for a 330. It's useless but who cares, at least I can do nice photos with it.

Guys, 356 is a proper grade-A weapon.

Even on Stage 2 Power upgrade it can keep up with the pack in Premium Sports Lounge event

The race was much closer than i initially presumed, but that has mostly to do with wonky suspension setup (experimenting atm)

And, as it turned out, even full Stage 3 356 fits into N200 category, which means more credits from races can be earned (405.000 Cr. with Clean Race bonus)

The car is definitely not suited for high-speed circuits (like Tokyo or BMB), but Lago and Dragon Trail should be manageable

Try it out

The Disgaea series would like a word with you :)

I loved Disgaea 1 on the PS2. That was back when I had all the time in the world and didn't feel that grinding was a waste of time that could be spent doing something more productive.

I bought the PS4 remaster several months ago, and wouldn't you know it, it's still sealed in the plastic wrapper

To sort of get back on topic, I wonder if there's a way to activate a pit glitch on Route X like there was at the 'Ring. I miss that one dearly.

Or any Pokemon game ever.
Blue Moon Bay does get very boring, I'll have to try this X2014 race. $400K per race isn't bad and dong that once every day or two would make noticeable credit gains.

The X2014 might be more profitable but with the speed and AI it might be harder than the 330 P4 Nostalgic Cup to get the clean race bonus consistently. I'll give it a go though. Driving the X2014 defo keeps you awake more than the 330. I just need to remember to turn the volume down or I'll get deaf :ill:

Might also try the Porsche 356 at BMB N200. Don't think it could win consistently against the LaF though.

Also will try the DB3S at La Sarthe once I got it. Not to set speed records, just to see if it's doable. Less power and more weight than the 250 GTO so not a good sign

I posted this recently under a different topic but, looking at one or two of the recent comments above, it might be useful to someone here too...

If you're finding Blue Moon Bay tedious but don't want to resort to 'elastic banding', you could do worse than taking an N200 tune RX500 round Dragon Trail in the Premium Sports Lounge series.

As Dragon Trail is less about pure speed than Blue Moon Bay, the RX500 in N200 form is fast enough to win fairly easily, even for me. Admittedly I used Racing Soft tyres, but as I won with over 10 seconds to spare from an F40 and a LaFerrari, I suspect I would have still been OK on harder rubber.

The bottom line is that, with a 50% clean race bonus and a 170% handicap bonus, 405,000 credits are up for grabs in less than 19 minutes. It might not be quite as quick as when running Blue Moon Bay, but you might retain your sanity!

I tried fully tuned 356 on the BMB, it isn't quick enough sadly. Best time i managed in it (without slipstream) is 51.smth seconds. Car must do at least 49 seconds or quicker to have a chance of winning on BMB

I've switched to Dragon Trail. I've used the GT40 and a 911, not sure which, both are easy wins at 300 and 400 respectively. I'll have a go with the RX500 if I can find a tune this evening.

We mention N200 at PSL/Dragon Trail in the article; I originally used the Alpine A110 but there are alternatives - the RX500 is one, the Toyota 2000GT also, and I reckon the Porsche 356 as well, although I haven't yet tested it.

One of the issues I keep coming across are the X2014 opponents either:
-quickly closing the space for you to pass them
-suddenly slowing down for a turn, so you either shunt them or you try to avoid them but go off track.

So... while the X2014 event is the best way to gain credits, it's also a riskier one, as it seems easier to lose the Clean Race bonus.
Nostalgic is a safer method, in my opinion.

So I was doing the X2014 Le Mans grind method and I managed to decrease the time from 9 mins and 30 secs to averaging at least 8 mins and 59 secs. Safe to say that this is now my favorite race to grind credits on plus combine that with the AI being competitive enough to keep you interested (even with racing softs on).

Just to share.

When you have the time, can you send me a replay of the lines you take? I can't finish below 9:03. :(

Well Disgaea has ways to insanely max your stats and all. Disgaea 5 is probably the quickest to achieve max level and stats, so they learned haha.

But back on GT Sport. X2014 races are still the best for high credit and less boredom. Still waiting a Tomahawk X in SSRX in GT League to go full braindead though

It can. Just won it with fully tuned 356

I struggled a lot tho. Not because the car is slow. But rather because of how stupid AI was on that particular race. Constant brakechecks, weird racing lines and punts... A LOT of punts. I was sideswiped twice, on the same exact corner (first by Veyron and then by One-77). And since 356 is much lighter than these two Dreadnoughts, they don't even feel the punt and i get sent into shadow realm at Mach 4 speed :banghead:

Yeah, you can win it and with enough luck you can even get the Clean Race bonus, but... it is not worth the lost nerve cells. Better stick to Lago Maggiore

What is the best way to grind XP. Im currentl level 45 and im using the XBOW method at Blue Moon. Is that still the most effective method? Are there any others?

They're all listed in the article in the first post. Short answer - no, that's the second quickest now, but it's a good deal more reliable and you don't need a 15m credit car to take part.

There's a new method I'll be adding to the article when I've had chance to evaluate it, which is slightly quicker, using the X2014 at the new race for that series at Circuit de la Sarthe.
