The Event

When a man goes looking for his missing girlfriend, he stumbles upon a government conspiracy that is bigger than the president himself.

Has anybody been watching? It's fairly new but I think it's near the end of the first season (8 Episodes) now. I'm loving it, great storyline in my opinion, they use flashbacks to show character history and to see how The Events unfold.

If anybody watched the show FlashForward and liked it, then this show is a little bit similar but has stronger storyline I feel. I Wont post much else about the episodes as you really need to watch them to understand, plus I don't want to ruin for anybody.

I have been watching and it's been quite good so far. The plot does share similarities with both FlashForward and Lost where there are elements of mystery.

I watched the first 3-4 episodes of the show and I have to say I didn't agree at all. I thought The Event was pure garbage that was TRYING WAY TOO HARD to be the next lost. Just like Flash Forward last year, this show was simply trying to take over the fans of Lost once it was off air. However, I think Flash Forward was MUCH MUCH better than The Event. THE EVENT IS HORRRIBLE I WAS SO DAMN DISSAPOINTED! Network TV has really died out the last few years, all the best shows are now on cable (Mainly AMC Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead to start)
