You're not too late. Glad to have you on board.

If you're doing full qualifying you have until 8pm (GMT) Saturday to produce a time to get on the grid.

The best & only time produced so far is 1:34.254.

I don't really understand how this works.

I pick a driver you run a race on f1tv and I get points for that drivers finish position? Or is it different?

No, you are correct.

  1. You Pick either a free or reserved driver from the list of Teams/Drivers in the original post
  2. You declare whether you will be fully-qualifying (requires the game & a user-entered time from the time-trial mode) or random-qualifying (doesn't require the game)
  3. You watch the race and see how you turn out throughout the 18 race season.

Ah, then you can ignore my PM then. I don't have the game, but this championship sounds interesting :D

EDIT: I've been put in Random-Quali

Oh it will be! But did you read the original post fully? I'm curious as to why you didn't understand the rules fully, maybe I should include that last post in the first post?

At first, I thought I needed the game to be in this championship (and I was in a bit of a rush while reading), but then I read it peacefully and then... :dunce:

...maybe I should include that last post in the first post?

It'll be a lot easier to read :D :P The problem is that that part of the rules is camouflaged, so it can create a bit of confusion in my opinion.

I have revised the original post. Any advice/constructive criticism is welcome.

By the way;

It seems everyone wants a 100% race. Well, that's fine but you better all be watching it, as it will take a long time to upload a video of that duration to YouTube every week.

Will you turn the announcers on?

Also, which car will you set it to track? How will you change it?
Commentary will be on every race. I won't be changing the camera angle, I will be leaving it on 'AUTO'. You can see an example video at the bottom of the first post in this thread.
Nah just kidding, you're right. When will the championship start? I'm oh-so-eager to watch the Massa-Schumacher duo get 1st and 2nd... respectively :sly:
You can expect to watch the first race this Sunday, I will post it here as soon as it's uploaded. It's looking like I'm on Pole, however I have a sneaking suspicion I might get an influx of times right toward the end of the cut-off point.

You really, REALLY NEED to change that, use the manual mode, the game does a really bad job at highlighting position fights etc. Please, please, please do the manual mode, actually it's quite entertaining to watch them race, I do it from time to time. And also, for us, who participate in that championship, it will be MUCH more enjoyable if you do it manualy. Thank you.

This. I would have missed a really good battle at Bahrain between three cars and they were all hitting eachother. If it was on Auto, I would have missed it.

Noone is stopping you. I can't believe you'd expect me to sit there for over an hour just changing camera angles. Get a grip!

Well, I'm out then. Schumacher is free.

If you want to make something, do it properly. Also, you do it FOR THOSE WHO PARTICIPATE, and for those it is MUCH more enjoyable when there is no silly auto camera. Good luck.

K, bye. Don't need any ungrateful players with bad attitudes anyway.

Especially those, who were excited for the whole thing, spread the word to make it going, only to be let down by silly decisions. Yup, you're right, ungrateful.

I know I'm right. You're being ungrateful because it seems you are completely unaware of the amount of effort I have put in to this already and will be doing for the future yet it's still not good enough for you, so you go and threaten to leave if your demands aren't met.

The door is the back button.

It's ok if you think that. I'm fine with it. And yes, it is not good enough for me, simply because I expect different standards than you do. It simply destroys the whole point of this championship, it MASSIVLY reduces the quality of the broadcast, and that is what you do not understand. If you want to call me ungrateful for that, well, that is your thing.

If it "MASSIVLY reduces the quality of the broadcast" why is it you're the only one continuing to bicker and moan about it? I think you're being melodramatic to be honest and most people taking part seem fine with the camera on AUTO.

What did you think would happen if I decided to use manual? Am I right in thinking that you were planning on achieving pole in the majority of races so you were under the assumption I would mostly follow the leaders of the pack thus giving you plenty of screen time?

AUTO cam makes sure every user gets a fair amount of screen time and I'll be leaving it at that. You can lump it, because I'm finished with this conversation.

This is redicilous. Doesn't even make any sense. If I would be at the top, driving there for myself, why follow me with the camera when there are position fights in the middle pack? Oh yeah and I am the one being melodramatic, righhhhhhhhhttt. I felt so strong about my point because it actually IS important to me, and that, at least to me, indicates that others are not as passioante about this championship, as I am.
